Great value for $$$, in a good location. Very basic, small room and tiny bathroom, can literally perform all bathroom functions simultaneously!

The shower had no curtain, it flooded after one use, the picture of the hotel in the opening screen is across the piazza, nothing to do with the called hotel, had to go three floor up with our luggage, since was in a historic place…the parking was about 20 minutes walk

Room was very clean and we had a great view from the top floor. The location couldn't get better with most places within 10 minutes walking distance. One star less due to the tiny bathroom, and be careful with the low ceiling and door frames if you're close to 6 ft.
Overall, we had a great stay.

Poor management and total lack of respect for customers

Stay absolutely to forget. I state that if we had read the many negative reviews first, we would never have set foot in this property.
We arrive after hours of travel and find that there is no hot water in the room. At that point we are offered a change of room, but the alternative solution was clearly inferior to the one booked and paid for: zero comfort and a bathroom in undignified conditions, with underfloor shower and embarrassing hygiene standards.
But the real problem was not the fault itself, which can also happen, but the behavior of the owner. To the simple and legitimate request to review the cost of living, made in a polite way given the situation, the response was aggressive, arrogant and totally out of place. Phone call closed in the face and number blocked: a shameful attitude for anyone who runs an accommodation facility.
It was evident that this treatment was reserved for us because we were boys, probably considered more “manageable” or less inclined to argue. We only stayed because it was late, we were tired and needed a room for the night, certainly not because the facility or service deserved it.
Bad management, zero professionalism and total lack of respect for customers. Not recommended in every respect.

We were in the attic room. Heed the warnings about large luggage. We were fine with carry ons, but we got stuck waiting for another couple struggling to get their very large bags up the tiny spiral staircase. Beautiful views from the attic rooms.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, it’s ideally situated, a coffee shop steps away is a bonus every morning. Staff is friendly, rooms clean, area safe. Will return again.
