An oasis of relaxation in the heart of Salento
We stayed in this wonderful riad and the experience exceeded all our expectations. The property is a perfect blend of nature, stone, and water, elements that create an atmosphere of immediate peace as soon as you cross the threshold. Every common area and every room is taken care of down to the smallest detail, with a refined design that blends Mediterranean vegetation, Salento tradition, Moroccan style, and modern comforts. The bathrooms in warm, refined, and pleasant-to-the-touch local stone are equipped with walk-in showers and a small internal spa that transform a simple shower into a high-sensory wellness experience. But the real added value is two people: Antonio and Damian. Professional, discreet, attentive, and thoughtful, they don't just limit themselves to the service, which is impeccable anyway (the varied and genuine breakfasts prepared by Damian's flair are priceless!), they also love to interact, give advice, and stop for a sincere chat. We really appreciated the moments spent talking; listening to their stories and their tales made us experience the stay in a much more authentic way. Heartfelt thanks!

Unhealthy environment in a property with great potential
We stayed at this property for two nights.
The first impression was wow, because of the characteristic courtyard with a pool and a relaxing atmosphere, but once we entered the room, the problems began!

After taking the first shower, right after our arrival, the drain turned out to be clogged and the water spread throughout the room. We immediately notified the manager who promptly took action, but the resolution only happened the afternoon of the following day! When we reported the problem, it was still the afternoon!!!
Furthermore, there was a stench of dampness in the room. At first we thought the cause was to be attributed to the shower problem, but in reality we later understood that it was an upstream problem! At night my wife in particular, had a lot of trouble sleeping in that environment!
The cleanliness also left something to be desired, we found several spider webs!
The breakfast then, truly disappointing!
Basically, only sweet and few options for savory!
The second day, there were no eggs and the croissants were soft and soggy!
The only positive note on both days, the pasticciotti were always fresh and good!
As a Puglian I am truly mortified and I hope that the managers will want to take steps as soon as possible to adapt the service offered to a true 4-star level!!!
It is necessary however to point out, that following my multiple reports, at the time of payment, I was made to pay only one night instead of two! Truly a poor consolation, compared to a stay very different from what was promised!

It’s a bit difficult to describe this place because it has so much potential, but unfortunately there are quite a few things holding it back.
The property itself is beautifully designed, and it’s clear that someone put a lot of thought into the architecture. However, it lacks a bit of attention to detail. Our room had a noticeable dampness issue, which seems like something that could probably be improved with better ventilation or an extractor fan. There was also a large half-dead plant in the room, which made it feel a little neglected, and the room could definitely benefit from a more thorough cleaning.
Breakfast was rather disappointing, as it consisted almost entirely of sweet pastries with very limited savory options.
On the positive side, the young man who welcomed us was incredibly friendly and helpful. He recommended a lovely restaurant and made us feel very welcome. The courtyard is charming, and the location is excellent for exploring Otranto and the many beautiful beaches nearby.

You cannot sell a room that is completely damp and smelly.
Terrible experience.
You cannot sell a room that is completely soaked with humidity, smells, damp towels, and even wet toilet paper due to humidity.
I am referring to the Enea room on the ground floor. That room should be removed from the catalog... we had to buy spray and candles to alleviate the smell a little, but with no relief. Fortunately, I had booked for only one night, but being inside there is enough to get sick. I reported the issue to the staff, but obviously, it is a known problem, and I was only provided with one extra candle!!
You should not scam people with 80 euros a night for an uninhabitable room...
