Simply the perfect place

We have been here 4/5 times, and each time it confirms a 5-star experience.
For us, it is no longer just a place to stay in Matera, but a true second home.
The beating heart of this place is Mrs. Brunella, an incredibly welcoming hostess, with unique availability and sweetness.
The room is always impeccable, spotlessly clean, attended to in every detail, and equipped with a wonderful hot tub.
If you are looking for an unforgettable, romantic, and worry-free stay, Mater Aquae is the perfect place.

B&B that tastes like a 5-star hotel

Just outside the historic center of Matera we were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful B & B equipped with every comfort and extraordinary cleanliness. Despite there was no breakfast the owner provided us with everything to be able to make it in the room. Truly unique place of its kind.

Perfect night

We stayed for one night and what an experience! The room is so big and clean and well decorated. Brunella was an amazing hostess and very nice and helpfull. We had everything for the breakfast. The location is amazing, just a short walk from the Matera's centre. You can park around the area. And just around the corner you can have on the the best views from the sassi. We can't thank you enough for the amazing stay.

Semplicemente splendido!!

Semplicemente splendido!!
