Very comfortable, very friendly

This place is hard to find, but well worth the effort. This B&B is located in a little town outside of Napoli, on a tiny dead-end street, with no markings or signs to show the way, but you know you’ve found it when you come across a beautiful wooden door with a wicket, the knocker of which is a lion’s head. Inside is a well-kept courtyard, and up a flight of stairs is the apartment that is all yours: two bedrooms with a kitchen in between. The rooms seem to have been recently renovated, so everything is new. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with coffee and snacks, and comes with a coffee machine, stove, fridge and kitchen table. The bathrooms are well appointed. Steps from your door, there is a pizza place that makes delicious Neapolitan pizza, and down the street about a block, a restaurant that serves home-made pasta –both establishments run by extremely friendly people. The scenery outside of Penta is gorgeous, with green-clad hills and winding country roads. The streets of the little town are ancient, narrow and interesting. But the best part of this B&B are the hosts of this little comfortable and homey place. I was made to feel like family the minute that I got there. They went out of their way, above and beyond, to make sure I had everything that I needed during my stay; I was even given a phone number to call in case I needed assistance at any time during my stay in the area, which was greatly appreciated, as I speak very little Italian. All in all I would highly recommend this establishment, and will definitely be staying again on my next trip to Penta – can’t wait to come back!

Struttura nuova

Struttura nuova, dotata anche di Tv, wifi, zanzariere alle finestre, con servizi da affitacamere. Molte stanze hanno anche un balcone o verandina per stendere. Per la colazione (ma è meglio chiedere se viene fornita) ci sono alcune merendine confezionate, latte macchina del caffè e possibilità di usare la cucina. Arredamento e stoviglie semplici, ma a prezzo ottimo rispetto agli altri della zona. Il luogo è a 10 minuti dall'università e la frazione di Penta è ben servita con diverse pizzerie e ristoranti.

NON E' COME MI ASPETTAVO

Che dire? Sono stata sfortunata!!
Ho soggiornato in questo B&B ad agosto. Inizio con il dire che il proprietario è customer oriented e il posto era pulito, purtroppo mi è toccata una camera buia con un forte odore di candeggina utilizzata per nascondere un forte odore di umidità, tantoché ho dovuto dormire con la finestra e porta aperta. Il proprietario mi ha detto che non aveva altre stanze libere, però poteva informarmi prima in modo da scegliere un'altra soluzione. La camera era ristrutturata ma non era proporzionata al prezzo pagato. Fortunatamente ero solo di passaggio e non ci tornerò più.

Consigliatissimo!

Ho passato una notte in questo b&b e sono rimasta davvero contenta della scelta. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è ottimo, l'arredamento è moderno, ci sono tutte le comodità. C'è una bella scelta per fare la colazione. Inoltre vorrei ringraziare tanto il proprietario - un uomo gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Decisamente consigliato!
