This is the One

If you want a hotel in Como that is close enough to walk but away from the noise, has a unique and very interesting history depicted in the decor and vibe, and amazing service this is the one. I expected a lot for the price and was not disappointed.

Surpassed expectations

This hotel was elegant, convenient and had a staff that were more than accommodating. Our room had more size than many European rooms.
The restaurant was excellent and had the prettiest lakefront view. Reservations are required. The second floor bar had an above average menu and could be used for lunch as well as dinner. It also had a wrap around view of the lake.
The hotel has its own private boat dock which made everything so simple. They also have a Vespa and e-bikes to rent on site.

This hotel has exquisite views, fast Wifi, great showers, a lovely breakfast and wonderful service staff. It is also just 5 minutes' walk to the local ferry stop that takes you to City of Como. But the rooms need a facelift, and they're small. We also got inaccurate information about ferry times and bus routes, which added extra trouble to already busy days. Is this hotel worth the pricetag? Location. Location. Location.

The room and staff were amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the bar. The fine dining resturant was poor. Scant selection and the quality was average at best. Service was slow. We had a far superior meal off property for less cost. We would certainly stay again but would skip the food.

Magic inside the hotel

Along the pedestrian street that runs along the lake from Como to Cernobbio, past the main entrance, there is a small gray door, open, with a wonderful mosaic on the ground that leads to the Lounge Bar of the hotel.
Here awaits Giovanna , courteous, attentive and caring, who welcomes you to this magical place.
Inside a small and well-kept bar with a wide choice from breakfast to aperitif and after dinner.
A beautiful terrace with an enchanting view suspended over the lake will make you stay ecstatic.
To return!!!
