A small Ciasa surrounded by the mountains

We spent a wonderful week at Ciasa Soreghina, in Colfosco, for the Dolomites Marathon.
Being a 2-star establishment, our expectations were quite simple: we were mainly looking for a convenient and strategic location. Instead, we found a family-friendly and welcoming environment, which made our stay truly enjoyable.
The guesthouse is not newly renovated, but it is well-maintained, functional, and tidy. The owner is a kind and helpful person, capable of making guests feel at ease from the very first moment.
Our room was not very large but comfortable, with a spacious balcony overlooking the state road leading to Passo Gardena and a truly spectacular view of the mountains. The bathroom shows some signs of age, but it was always impeccably clean, which is definitely more important to us.
The girls who take care of the rooms are always precise, attentive, and friendly.
A special thanks goes to Cinzia, who welcomed us every morning at breakfast with her smile and professionalism. The breakfast was rich and varied, and her cappuccino, prepared with great care and passion: delicious!
If we were to return to the area, it will definitely be an establishment we will consider again.

Five night stay in July "25

Great location with beautiful views, bus stop just below the house, excellent cleaning, dated room a little 'small but basic; the bathroom without bidet but still functional, good breakfast. Satisfied.

Disconcerting rudeness

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time I'm making an exception. Let's start with beds that are not suitable for people taller than six feet, unless you sleep curled up. There is no bidet in the bathroom, but on the other hand there were flies. For the rest the furniture is sparse and old, but that can already be seen from the photos. But the thing that leaves us most perplexed is the arrogance of the staff who proved rude and obnoxious on every occasion and I'm talking about different people who were equally rude

Buona la colazione

Ho soggiornato presso la Ciasa Soreghina, in occasione del ponte del 2 Giugno. Accoglienza da parte del personale molto gradevole. La nostra camera si trovava all'ultimo piano e non essendoci l'ascensore, con le valigie abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà. La camera sotto tetto molto piccola, ma a cui non mancava nulla. Ho trovato molto scomodo invece il bagno interno, anche questo decisamente piccolo, senza finestre, bidet e con la docci a cui mancava persino la tendina. Salvo la struttura da un giudizio più negativo per la colazione a buffet, che però non giustifica il prezzo, considerando la bassa stagione.
