PERMANENCE HOTEL DE ROSSI BARI

Watch out, watch out, I recently returned from Puglia, beautiful region and, in Bari I stayed 2 nights in this hotel, I was skeptical, used to other scenarios .. But I had to change my mind about the reception, helpfulness and kindness, of the reception staff, exceptional, Mr Pasquale and Mrs Celeste, I was immediately impressed, for their availability and kindness, the room, dated, but clean, and despite the 2 stars equipped with everything you need, including TV, fridge, wifi, television and the necessary for cleaning and personal hygiene, and .. If you need do not hesitate to ask, the staff is unique. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

For a short and cheap stay

Convenient location, close enough to the train station and shopping center of the city. Cheap. Facade redone recently, reception 24h. Small and unhappy rooms, basic bathrooms, interiors that need restyling. Overall sad hotel, perhaps suitable for short stays minimizing the hours spent in the room

Excellent value

The hotel is adequately rated as 2 star hotel: it provides clean rooms at a very good price close to the train station and a 5min walk away from the historic city centre. There are several cafés and restaurants nearby.
The staircase is only dimly lit but there is also an elevator available.
There was a single bed in my room, a desk, aircon, tv and a recently renovated bathroom. All was well-maintained and functional. I would have liked to gave a kettle in the room to make myself a coffee/tea in the morning.
The staff was friendly.
The card reader dud not work and I had to pay in cash which I found very inconvenient.

Nightmarish

A dingy hotel. Microscopic room without working TV without working air conditioning without noisy and dirty hot water. Rude staff. Bad value for money. Only the location is good.

With lower prices it would be very convenient

I liked the location, the efficient elevator, the decent cleanliness and the working bathroom, the air conditioning system, simple but effective.
I didn't like the lack of breakfast, the cramped room, the old furniture, the back of the metal bed, the pillows too small (but they added another on request), the lack of minibar but also a bottle of mineral water courtesy, the shower fixed without hose (but at least there was the bidet). I paid 152 euros for 2 nights. It's worth half.
All in all acceptable. With lower prices we would stay again.
