Perfect evening, experience to recommend

I was at dinner at the Bra hotel rooftop. The terrace managed by the maitre d' Michele and Fabio.
Wonderful experience. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, satisfying our every little request. Very well-prepared and tasty dishes. I was there to celebrate an event and I was fully satisfied with the details and also with the surprise reserved for us by the maitre d' Michele.

Disappointing

Experience unfortunately not up to expectations
We had chosen the Bra Hotel with the intention of spending three nights in a setting of tranquility and comfort, accepting a cost of about €600 per night, in line with the level of the property.
Unfortunately, the room assigned to us, overlooking the courtyard, turned out to be extremely noisy, to the point of compromising the quality of our rest. The only way to mitigate the noise was to keep the air conditioning on during the night, which was not an ideal solution for us.
We promptly reported the situation and requested a room change, but we were informed that there were no alternative vacancies. We were therefore transferred to the Hotel delle Nazioni.
We would like to point out that this property, in terms of type and characteristics, turned out to be very different from the one originally booked and not in line with our expectations. Furthermore, we encountered some problems related to cleanliness and noise here as well.
The main point of our experience does not concern only the price difference between the two properties, but rather the fact that our stay was significantly compromised in its essential component, namely rest and tranquility.
An additional night was kindly offered, a gesture we appreciate; however, we do not believe that this can fully compensate for the inconvenience suffered or restore the experience we had chosen and booked.
We remain disappointed that our high expectations were, unfortunately, not met.

Absolute recommendation.

Unfortunately, we only spent one night in this modern, great hotel. The rooms were very modern and extremely high quality. The staff shines with friendliness, and the service at breakfast was wonderful as well.

A really nice hotel in the centre of Bari . You can easily visit the city and the roof top pool was very nice after visiting the city. Breakfast is amazing. Only the extra money for our dog was too expensive

One of a kind

Bra is a very classy hotel with attentive staff, good food, all mod cons and more. It’s a ode to shiny, reflective surfaces and designer bling, and if there’s just one complaint to be made, it is that style sometimes overtakes practicality here: it would be nice, for example, to have some drawers for clothes in the rooms and a spare loo roll in a visible place in the bathroom rather than one tucked away inside a hidden, almost seamless in-wall compartment. But the place is fun and one of a kind. We enjoyed our stay here.
