Classic Fishing Village Pub - Serving Excellent Food & Beer

This part of Dingle along the Dingle Marina & Dingle Harbour is just about perfect. It's loaded with tourists, of course, but for good reason. It's a small area, but packed with some good restaurants and bars and what you expect to find when exploring Ireland away from the big cities. While Murphy's Pub doesn't hold any significant place in local history that I was made aware of, it is the center of the town's culture. And, more importantly they served what I thought was the best fish & chips I'd ever had. The batter was crisp and crunchy - not mushy - and the fish was fresh and delicious; in my view perfect. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we weren't here in the evening hours when there likely would have been some live music to enjoy.

A great stay.

We stayed at Murphy's Pub and B&B (not to be confused with "Murphy's B&B", the green building right beside the Pub) for 2 nights. We really enjoyed it. For us, it was a bit confusing at first, where to check in (which is at the bar btw) but that was ok.
We were escorted to the 3rd floor and room 13 and it was great - it had 2 windows in the room - the 2 centre windows at the top when you look at the photo of the front of the building. Yes, the room is small-ish but it was fine. And I thought it was nicely decorated - seemed fairly fresh. No complaints there. The view from room 13 was great - you could sit on the chair, feet up on the deep window sill and look out onto the bustle of the street.
I can't clearly remember but I'm not sure if they provided facecloths or not - some Irish hotels provide face cloths, others don't, just fyi.
We were happy with our stay.

A great place to stay in the heart of Dingle

Newly renovated rooms to a high standard. Staff were great and the breakfast was amazing. A very enjoyable stay. Very good value when you take into account the breakfast, which was a full Irish song with fruit, pastries, yoghurt etc. Will definitely stay there again.

Fab pub and B and B in the centre of town

Fabulous B and B in Dingle - near everything. Great hosts fab food in the pub and lovely breakfast in the morning. The bedrooms are really - all refurbished and really clean and comfortable. Ideally located to watch the New Years Eve Fireworks. We had a fabulous meal and drinks on New years Eve and a fab breakfast on New years Day - nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. This is great value accommodation and I would highly recommend.
