A beautiful property nestled in the heart of the jungle. The service is incredibly kind, helpful, and top-notch. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable and beautiful. The peace and quiet there truly allows you to relax. And the monkeys are an added attraction. Thank you, and we will definitely recommend it.

A truly memorable experience
We recently had the most wonderful 7-night stay at Alila in Ubud. From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we had stepped into an enchanting and peaceful jungle retreat, far away from the bustling streets!
The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and a whole lot of nature, and is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast at The Plantation Restaurant was exceptional, with an incredible variety of fresh, delicious options. A highlight was enjoying breakfast while watching the monkeys play in the trees nearby.
The Cabana Lounge was another highlight. The view overlooking the infinity pool and jungle beyond felt like something from a tropical paradise. The food and drinks were consistently superb, and every meal exceeded our expectations.
What truly sets Alila Ubud apart is the staff, and we were genuinely blown away by the warmth, and kindness of every staff member we encountered. From the team who greeted us upon arrival to the housekeeping staff, (who maintained our room meticulously), everyone made us feel so welcome.
The restaurant staff were outstanding, always attentive and incredibly thoughtful and we would especially like to acknowledge Rusmiyati, Gede, Dee, Widi, Marianthi, and Sri, and several others whose names we unfortunately can't recall. They went above and beyond to make a truly lasting impression on us and they made it their mission to remember our names, making every interaction feel genuine and special.
Our package included two massages at Alila Spa, and the spa team also delivered an outstanding experience.
We cannot recommend Alila Ubud highly enough. It was a truly memorable stay, and we are already looking forward to returning someday.

Jungle wonder views and pool
Jungle location, jungle infinity pool views and staff outstanding, truly breathtaking destination. Nicely away from busy Ubud but close enough to visit.
Try and go for a villa or superior room, our standard room was small and needed a refresh.
Highly recommend sunset walk from hotel though rice fields to nearby Begawan Biji farm to table restaurant for amazing local food and experiences including sunset views and farm tour.

**Coming Back Feels Like Coming Home**
This was our second stay at Alila Ubud, and once again, we were not disappointed. What touched us most was being recognized and warmly welcomed back. We have travelled around the world for many years, but this was the first hotel we chose to visit a second time. Returning truly felt a little like coming home.
We arrived late at night and were immediately asked whether we would still like something to eat. This thoughtful and caring approach is what makes Alila Ubud so special.
This time, we stayed in a Forest Edge Villa; two years ago, we stayed in a Pool Villa. Both experiences were absolutely wonderful. We would always choose a villa again, although the other rooms certainly have their own charm.
The quality and level of service have not changed. Many members of the team are still the same, the hospitality is exceptional, and every effort is made to fulfil guests’ wishes. Above all, we appreciate the warm, personal and almost family-like atmosphere. The friendly encounters and meaningful conversations made our stay truly special once again.
We had even missed the monkeys and were delighted to see them again in the natural surroundings of the hotel. There was no need to visit a temple or the nearby Monkey Forest to experience them. Alila Ubud is surrounded by nature, and we sincerely hope it will remain this way, without further hotels or apartment buildings being constructed nearby.
The hotel may no longer be brand-new, but that is part of its character and charm. Anyone looking for peace, nature and genuine hospitality should definitely stay here. We also appreciated the calm atmosphere without constant filming, staged photo shoots or crowds of people creating content for social media. Here, you can simply slow down and enjoy the beauty of the place.
The daily shuttle service to Ubud is excellent, and we can also highly recommend the excursions offered by the hotel.
What deserves far more than 100 percent from us is the warmth and kindness of the entire team. Thank you once again to everyone at Alila Ubud for your wonderful hospitality, the lovely conversations and the gentle reminder to appreciate what we have.
We would return again without hesitation.
