Sleep at the Taj, very close to the Mahal

Excellent hostel with very kind, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms, clean and spacious, bathroom with hot shower, good breakfast. Very close to shopping street leading directly to The Taj Mahal. We were five happy people leaving the hostel after a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much!

Not the expected view

Facilities located near the Taj Mahal (+- 10min walk) but inaccessible directly by car: you have to walk 2-3 minutes from the road. The hotel offers decent single rooms but with some imperfections: phonetically poorly insulated with proximity to the reception, relatively small hot water boiler: ok for 1 person, for 2 you have to wait for the latter to reheat. The bed base is relatively hard while everything remains comfortable. The hotel says it has a rooftop view of the Taj Mahal. In truth, this is not really the case because a large hotel complex is right in front... you can see a very small part of the top of the monument.
It is possible to eat (lunch-dinner-dinner) for a very democratic price. The dishes are good and varied. Warning if you have to leave early in the morning (to visit the TM for example): it is imperative to inform the reception as the gate is closed with a padlock during the night. Security is therefore guaranteed.
The hotel also offers dormitory beds.

Excellent location - great value for money.

The Taj Street Hostel is located just off the East Gate Road, Taj entrance hence, excellent location to Taj and to some very good restaurants.
The rooms are spacious and have western ensuites.
The Taj Street staff are great and will attempt to ensure your request are met and that you have a memorable visit.
Taj Street do a great breakfast and provide a menu of dishes at a reasonable price.
We will certainly return to Taj Street just for the convenience, room, and staff.

Had evening we needed for our one night stay. Dinner was great and it was nice to have dinner on the rooftop.
The hotel is extremely close to Taj Mahal and we were able to walk there quickly.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend this hotel.
