Nice hotel

Minerva is a cosy place. The rooms are clean, spacious and light colored. The temperature was set just right.
The breakfast is diverse and good :we stayed two days and there were slight variations of the hot breakfast options. They also serve cold cuts and cheese as cold options and chocolate spreading or jams for those in search of a sweeter breakfast.

Good value

This B&B offered a good modern room with very good beds.
The shower in the bathroom would need som maintenance, but worked.
That staff is friendly, but not very good in english. It was difficult to get good help at the reception, even if they wanted.
Breakfast is average. White bread, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, (cold) sausages and jam. Youghurt most days and cerials.
Location is ok. A few minutes walk from the city centre. And taxi is cheap (and the reception calls for the taxi).

Ça aurait pu être bien...

Située à 5mn à pieds de la place Kossuth cette pension aurait pu être une bonne étape rapport qualité-prix. Nous faisons un roadtrip à travers l'Europe de l'est. Nous roulons en moyenne 6 à 7h qu'elle que soit la météo. Ce jour là c'était sous la pluie, le brouillard et des températures en baisse. Inutile de dire l'importance d'une douche chaude en arrivant. Hélas nous n'avons jamais pu l'avoir. Lorsque nous l'avons signalé à la réception on nous a dit d'attendre quelques minutes, puis 10mn puis à la troisième reprise ce fut *il y a un problème désolée". Le matin toujours pas d'eau chaude... Devant ma colère et mon refus de payer le prix exigé au départ la jeune femme de la réception ne nous a pas fait payer la chambre. Nous avons apprécié ce geste commercial. Dommage ça aurait pu être bien. Parking privé et gratuit, chambre propre.

Parken im Innenhof, wenige Minuten Fußweg in die Stadt, ruhige Zimmer

Haben hier eine Nacht verbracht auf unserer Ungarn Durchreise. Das Auto konnten wir kostenfrei im Innenhof parken. Da meine Frau ungarisch spricht, war die Kommunikation kein Problem. Wir bekamen unseren Zimmerschlüssel und checkten das WLAN. Das angegebene Passwort ging zuerst nicht, wenn man dann aber das Konferenz-WLAN auswählte, hat es gepasst. Als der Chef des Hauses da war, klappte auch die Kommunikation auf englisch und sogar deutsch einwandfrei. Das Frühstück war sehr Basic und die Brötchen aufgebacken. Dadurch dass wir als Letztes zum Frühstück kamen etwas hart. Die Zimmer waren groß, gemütlich und sauber. Da im Hinterhof auch absolut ruhig. Unser Zimmer war mehr ein Apartment. Sprich: Wir hatten einen Eingangsbereich, ein Schlafzimmer, ein Zimmer mit Dusche und Waschbecken, sowie ein Zimmer mit Toilette. Also wirklich viel Platz. Preis/Leistung top. In wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in der kleinen aber feinen Innenstadt. Wer also mal in Debrecen vorbeikommt, kommt hier gut unter.

Osztàlytalálkozót szerveztünk a különteremben.A beszélgetés alatt frissen sült forró pogàcsàval kedveskedtek nekünk. A vacsora nagyon bőséges és finom volt.A tisztaság maximális,a szoba kényelmes. A reggeli kívánság szerint.Bőséges,választékos.
