Well located older (Soviet) style hotel offering excellent value for money. Rooms are a good size, well maintained and clean. A bathroom with a full size bath tub is always a plus. Hot water plentiful and heating very efficient. Breakfast choice was sufficient. Staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. Maybe not the first choice for travellers who prefer all the mod cons but for a comfortable room and convenient location at a fair price I think it's hard to beat

Avoid this awful place!!!

December without heating in the rooms. Moreover, without willingness to fix it, and without showing any respect to guests! Also, without changing towels (two days towels were on the floor - no one even enter into the bathroom) , and without cleaning the rooms! But with highly unprofessional and unkind employees!
Avoid this "hotel"!

Good hotel, good price

Hotel is good, just as location and price.
The staff is really very nice and supportive.
Breakfast is excellent.
Rooms are clean, small.
The spa center did not work during our stay, but everything else is good.

45min to check-in (with a prepaid booking!)

Checkin time is taking ages (45min for them to "find a clean room" for me). As I was waiting, a grown man was playing a computer game, a teenager was walking around half-naked, and a bus was parked outside, pointing to the hotel catering to Polish tourists on a budget.
The hotel either has a horrible computer system or no manager to speak of. 4 staff members were at the reception; only one could be seen actually working.
By the way - Danubius, a hotel group behind some of the not-so-good Budapest hotels, is no longer managing this one.
The hotel is located on the left bank of Danube where few hotels are. No need to stay here unless you have no other options.

Avoid it

My sister and I were robbed at check out. We had breakfast and carried with us our suitcases and bags. While we were eating, our bags were stolen in just few seconds. In them were all our documents, money and mobile phones. We went to the reception where they did not want to return the cameras or call the police. We do not recomend this hotel !
