Wonderful staff beautiful views and lovely pool
The bar staff, Abdalla and Manwile, were wonderful and kept me well supplied with lattes throughout the stay. Daniel was also very friendly and helpful. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming and approachable.
The rooms were kept very clean with fresh water replenished daily, along with towels for both the pool/beach and showering. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice too. Having the use of an iron and ironing board in the room was also a fantastic extra touch.
Although the entertainment was fairly small-scale during our stay in May (just before the half-term season), it was still great fun and we were always kept entertained. Michael and the young lady working alongside him (sorry I forgot your name!) were full of energy and always managed to put a smile on everyone’s face. The staff in the dining room where happy and efficient greeting you good morning ect with a genuine smile. The lifeguard was also very friendly and helpful too.
We also rented a car through the hotel and the lady who helped us was lovely, taking the time to recommend places for us to visit around the island. The views from the hotel are amazing the sunset is just beautiful. We very much appreciated on our last day being able to use the spa showers with fresh towels before leaving for a later flight a helpful bonus and a really thoughtful touch.
If I had to mention any negatives, I would say the food choices could be a little more varied and clearer labelling for vegetarian options would help. The snack bar was also quite limited during our stay with only sandwiches and cake which did look quite dry. However, the ice cream was lovely! The air conditioning was not working also so got a little hot in the night.
Overall, myself and my sister had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend the hotel for its friendly atmosphere amazing staff and views. We would have rated it excellent if it weren’t for the food.

Solid hotel with great access to the sea
Food was 8/10 maybe some more choice for children at all meals would help
Pool was great, entertainment team worked hard, but need more support
Bar needed more staff inside and out to help keep the queues down.
Very quiet area, but ideal for a nice rest
Would visit again 8/10

Disappointed beyond belief.
Where do I start ?
Well on arrival I’d expect once again I’ll say a 5/4 star hotel to have at least extra staff available to make you feel welcome but no there’s just one person on the desk and you wait.
I’d expect maybe a welcome drink, but nothing !
Now I’ll say the room we have is nice if a little small and lacking in storage space but nothing special, no welcome bottle of wine which once again I’ve had at other hotels in this price bracket and star rating.
Now I’ll come onto the food and beverages.
To say they are poor is an understatement and that’s not just a 5/4 star hotel but even a 2/3 star.
The dining experience starts off with no one greeting you and showing you to a table, this is a 100 room hotel so hardly an onerous task.
You literally walk in and find a take, there’s no one to ask if you want a drink (any drink) and you then find out there’s not only no bottled water but no wine or any other drink available apart from a self service station.
On that point would you expect that from a 4/5 star hotel as I wouldn’t and don’t at any other hotel I’ve stayed.
Now I’ll come onto the food and without wishing to sound rude it’s basic and not once again what I’d expect from a 4/5 star hotel.
Drinks of an evening, well if you advertise AI then why are so many drinks extra ?
Prosecco … seriously how is that extra ?
I’ll end by mentioning the grounds and amenities, I’ll be polite and just say they are tired and bare no relation to the brochure they themselves have in the hotel.
Overall this Hotel promises so much yet doesn’t deliver which is a real shame.

NOT ALL INCLUSIVE SERVICE
However, we booked an all inclusive holiday as I always do when travelling with children, this was far from the service we received. The first night we arrived 40 minutes before the end of dinner service only to find empty trays, like warm food and were actually shocked that the buffet area in general is about the same size as a medium sized household kitchen, there were literally a couple of pieces of dry chicken in sauce, rice potato’s, like warm pasta and a couple of sauces and some salad, No desert available and the soda machine had only sprite available, we were shocked and went to bed hungry, despite booking all inclusive you are required to pay for drinks at the pool bar after 11.00pm.
The tv screen in the room advertises lobby bar open until 12.00am however when going down there at 11.20pm we were informed that it closed at 11.
There are no food options between meals only some sandwiches and the odd bit of dry cake that were left on the bar counter in 27 degree heat all day, there are no labels to inform you of what is in the sandwiches and after the three trays are finished they do not refill! Continually ran out of bottles of water, the coffee machines were broken most of the time, when it was working sometimes given in paper cup a quarter way full, we had two hot chocolates during a 7 day period the rest of the time they were dispensed as cloudy water…again, we’re told they had run out! Meat is not clearly labelled we were informed that a dish was chicken only to unfortunately find out it in fact contained pork! The lobby bar is unattended most of the time meaning we had to search for staff to serve us a drink.
The poolside bar has one single bar tender from 11.00-6.00 who works alone, queues are often long meaning that the wait time for drinks is often ridiculous.
The hotel itself is well maintained and clean, the rooms were tidied daily but NOT CLEANED, we had the same dust and stain marks on the floor next to the bed from the day we arrived until the day we left!
Food was the main issue, what food was available was not replaced when running low, the food was barely warm and unpleasant to eat, on some days No desert option available at all only a very poor selection of fruit, on the days that a desert was available it consisted of baklava and a cake or cheesecake of some kind, Again, once it is gone it was not replaced, on one evening a apple pie was brought out but was unfortunately frozen on the inside, It was impossible to get a coffee anywhere apart from restaurant most days, either the pool bar had run out or the lobby machine was broken.
The soda taps were never fully stocked and came out tasting strange or as water.
The telephone in our room did not work for the duration of the holiday and the vent above the door leaked water continuously.
NOT an all inclusive service a poor full board at best.
Definitely not ideal when travelling with children as food and drink options are severely limited.
The staff work so well with what they are given and are genuinely so nice, the girl working in the restaurant runs back and forth from the lobby bar doing multiple jobs at once and the receptionist was so nice helping where possible.
We were not located near much so what was meant to be all inclusive ended up costing us a fortune in taxi fair and outside dining. The private beach was overflowing with rubbish from the bins, after complaining they seemed to take better care but it was not pleasant, the à la carte restaurant tables are filthy and stained which they do not even attempt to hide with table cloths.
On the upside hotel looks modern, has a great view from the restaurant despite the poor food selection and quality, the surrounding area is beautiful despite being far from everything, the hotel maybe wouldn’t of been too bad if travelling adults only and didn’t mind dining out however I cannot state it enough! NOT ALL INCLUSIVE SERVICE AND DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE ALL INCLUSIVE PRICE TAG. I have recently logged a complaint with Jet2 in regards to this.
