Amazing dining experience

We ate at the White House and it was one of the most u forgettable meals we had. Our server Apostolis was amazing helping us navigate the menu and ultimately chose an unforgettable lunch for us. The views are also impeccable, for lunch and dinner.

So I wouldn't come back or recommend it

Beautiful location but the value for money a bit 'high road to get narrow and the very challenging (the game is not worth the candle!) I would not return

Don’t go for drinks here

This is our third year coming to Kalami and we have really loved it for the quiet charm lovely water and local restaurants and people. We have stayed in local apartments but frequented all the bars local joints etc. we want to keep the tourism scene alive here .. on our last night this visit we thought we’d spend an hour or so at the White House have a few drinks and enjoy the view .. on arrival we were quite curtly shunted to the beach area given a wine list and promptly ignored for a good twenty minutes - considering it is a Thursday night not that busy out of season this felt a bit harsh - so after it was clear we were not being looked after at all we left..
Very disappointing as we clearly want to support the businesses here and things have seemed quieter this year than before .. a reminder that tourists partially from The UK are also being squeezed as we have less and less disposable income to spend with you
Please don’t treat us like s^*^t just because we want a drink rather than a whole meal

Very expensive, poor service

First visit to The White House and also to Kalami, beautiful village.
Popped into The White House for just a small beer and small white wine unfortunately service was slow even though there wasn’t many in. 15€ for the drinks which we felt was outrageous. First and last visit.

For Lawrence Durrell admirers a wonderful place to visit.

For the fans of Lawrence Durrell this is an interesting place to visit. It is down some very windy narrow roads so it is probably better to visit by boat. You can’t always get in to see inside so it is worth contacting the White House before planning a visit. .
