Nicely renovated general areas. The superior room was well maintained, stylish and lot of space. Great beds.

You can hardly get more unfriendly
The Price quality ratio is miserable! The hotel looks very friendly from the outside, also the many outdoor parking spaces are convenient. But that's about it with the positive points, because appearances are deceptive. The wellness does not live up to the name. No indoor pool, the outdoor pool is much too small and therefore always full. Very few berths and the electric door jams. But it gets really bad with the service staff. At brunch, you get snapped at by the totally stressed service staff even before you are brought to the table. No laughter, no shawl, just pure mass handling! We could also observe that certain guests were neatly squeezed together if you did not see the waiting sign. In addition, we had ordered an aperitif plate in advance for the anniversary in the evening. In the morning they said it all worked out. Not only was no space reserved in the evening, but there was no trace of the aperitif. Insisting at the waiter and at the reception did nothing and did not seem to be of interest. With the bartender it was clear that he struggled with wishes of women, as he generally does not want to be told anything by women. Also an apology was already too much Even 30 minutes after the agreed appointment we did not have an aperitif, which is why we ended up having dinner outside. What a frustration! Also the cleanliness in the wellness and in the rooms fit into the bad picture.

Nice hotel with good service and nice rooms.
Very clean hotel with very welcoming service and nice rooms. We wanted to leave very early in the morning because of traffic congestion. Despite the fact that it was not yet time for breakfast, we could have breakfast. Then also a proposal for drinking on the go. Very neat!!!

Great outdoor garden, pool and setting. Unfortunately restaurants food is still and has been for a long time very bad, quality and taste is on a level of a 2 star hotel. Cleanliness of rooms was mediocre, minibar no wine or prosecco.

Romantic weekend
We stayed in the countryside on the edge of the black forest, 15 minutes from the center of Freiburg.
The structure is very nice, the standard rooms are a bit minimalist but clean and quiet. Very nice swimming pool heated to 29 degrees and the wellness center with saunas and Turkish bath. Breakfast is varied and of excellent quality.
