well located, clean hotel, walking distance to the old town

Well located city hotel (15 minutes walk to downtown). Parking available. Room big enough. Beds good.
Breakfast: everything you want available.
Employees friendly
We would stay again at the Brown Deer.

This was a fine hotel. It is dated and not in a very pleasant or picturesque location. The breakfast was just okay everything served, however, was room temperature (scrambled eggs, milk, and yogurt all the same temperature). It also had minimal variety compared the other hotel breakfasts we have had that have been the same price. The rooms are from the 70's and lack hot water maker let alone outlets. It seemed a bit pricey for the amenities included, the location, and dated quality of the hotel. The staff was pleasant and checkin and out was easy. I wouldn't speak highly of this hotel and if I needed a place to stay it would certainly fulfill the need.

Nice hotel with kind staff. Fantastic breakfast. Just missing a lift to 2nd floor - and possibility to have coffee/tea 24/7
