A location with possibilities

For the last stop of a few days at the end of the summer holidays we hesitated between two hotels, Waldhotel & Restaurant Zeitreise and Hotel Noltmann-Peters in Bad Rothenfelde. We chose Zeitreise.
The hotel / restaurant is quietly located on a large park-like site with a large covered terrace. There is a children's playground and a small lake. You can also sit outside on the lounge sofa, or at the dining tables, in case of rain under the canopy or the tent canvas.
The service - if you get noticed - is friendly.
The menu is not very extensive. The quality of the dishes is at least gutbürgerlich. The prices are pretty high.
There is an extensive drinks menu with small bites and a wide range of cocktails. On the site is a large pavilion for events, weddings etc. In short, it is a location with a lot of potential.
Friday evening there was a BBQ party for the region and the hotel guests; registration is mandatory. It's the first night there's been some life in the brewery.
The extra activities of the hotel, seminars, (wedding) parties, a dance evening and a wine tasting, undoubtedly generate extra income. Seems necessary to us given the small number of hotel guests.
Our room (17) was a little design decorated but impractical. In the freestanding shower no tray to put 'your things' down, no dispenser with shower gel, the shower head does not stay in the holder, the mirror above the sink hangs too low etc. The room is quite dark due to the chosen colors.
The hotel is located near the town of Bramsche. Osnabrück and Munster are easy to reach in 20 and 50 minutes.

Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.
