A traditional establishment in a prime location with many plus points

Beautifully situated on the southeastern tip of the Great Plön Lake, the hotel is owner-managed and is characterized by individuality and professionalism. The various rooms and the junior suite are comfortably furnished with a beautiful view of the lake landscape with lots of greenery and the large garden with a jetty and neighboring piers. The separate breakfast room and the restaurant are particularly well done, largely with a lake view and a large terrace. Both offer an excellent gastronomic selection with selected regional cuisine. Quality, not quantity, dominates here. Also striking are the excellent vegan dishes. In addition, there is attentive, quiet, and very friendly service both in the restaurant and from the hotel manager himself, who is involved in everything from reception to guest relations (even with questions and small problems) to restaurant service—in a very guest-oriented manner.
This traditional hotel has charm, but naturally requires regular, intensive maintenance. Renovations are due again, we were told. Because the small sauna does not meet the usual standard, and our premium double room does not correspond to a 4**** hotel in all areas. However, we were promised that renovations are planned here. But the prices are reasonable to good for this hotel.
Other guests who have vacationed here several times confirmed this to us. Thus, the overall atmosphere in the hotel was quiet, friendly, and considerate. So we had nice days.

Unique overall package!

We have never been welcomed so warmly in a hotel! The room with lake view is indescribable and actually you don't want to leave it anymore: The water sparkles and the ducks squawk briskly. Then dinner, again with a view of the more and a wonderful waitress. The next morning a great breakfast (of course with lake view!) - we were just happy! Thank you for that!,,

Very nice, spontaneous stay

As part of a bike tour we were stranded in Bosau in the very late evening and spontaneously looked for accommodation. Although the staff of the hotel wanted to finish work, we were received here insanely friendly and offered a beautiful room at a very fair price for the night. We also felt absolutely welcome in our somewhat outstanding sportswear. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Room, view and breakfast were great. Absolute recommendation and thank you!!!

Beautiful location on the lake

Very nice location right on Lake Plön. All staff super friendly. Nice room with balcony, which should be kept in good shape. Good breakfast.
Point deduction because the ordered wine was forgotten for the room. But multiple apologies and a bottle of Secco for home.
If we are in the area again, we would come back

Quiet, friendly, nice view.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a beautiful view and a large garden with sunbeds and a swimming jetty. There is ample parking, for the bikes there was a garage. We had a spacious suite with a good bed, a nice salon, a table and chairs: very spacious with a nice view. The room was also very clean. Unfortunately , due to unforeseen circumstances (for which all due respect) we could not eat in the renewed and beautiful restaurant.
It really is a place to unwind: both by the silence in the hotel and in the garden. Please note that the hotel is outdated and there is very little to do in the village.
