I would go back without a problem!

Very quiet hotel. The room seems to have been renovated recently. Hearty breakfast. Friendly staff but they have difficulty speaking English.

There was no air conditioning in the room and it got too hot. Had to switch to another hotel.

2 nights over New Year's Eve in Bernkastel-Kues

Great place to stay. Good location all within walking distance. Max 5/10 min to the old town. Right next to the brewery. Very nice staff and boss. Delicious rich breakfast . Bathroom has no heating if you leave the bath door open then it is fine .

absolutely recommendable!

An unqualified recommendation for this house!
We were guests in this small (I think 7 guest rooms), very tastefully renovated house from 05 to 07 September 2025.
The reception and check-in went completely smoothly and very friendly by the owner. The location of the house is excellent, just a short walk from the center. Bought e-bikes could be stored and charged in the in-house bicycle room. The room was very nicely decorated and absolutely clean. The beds were excellent. Breakfast was absolutely ok. The staff was friendly throughout. All in all a wonderful stay. We would definitely come back!

Not a Hotel- a Restaurant

I think more people would want to eat here, than stay overnight. It is a excellent restaurant with a modern take on German food. The price is reasonable and it would be easier to find if it were listed under restaurants-- wine and food were well prepared and interestingly served. Reservations advised
