A Very special place and absolutely stunning
This place was incredible. Sat atop a cliff side and built on a medieval castle it is like something out of a fairy tale. I had the privilege to stay in the tower room and my goodness what a magnificent room. The bath faced a huge window with views over the vineyards and village.
The grounds were incredible to walk around with beautiful old steps to walk down to access the swimming pool. The pool was a lovely temperature and was very tranquil.
The breakfast was in their stunning rooms and was very tasty.
The place has so much history and you are also able to access the tourist side of the tower for free which I would recommend as the views were absolutely incredible.
Overall it was a very special place that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. I would love to come back ❤️

The property and decor is stunning.
Staff are friendly and helpful.

Outstanding Experience
My husband and I visited for 3 nights in June/July for our honeymoon.
The Chateau is located at the top of Sancerre and you can see it while approaching.
We were blown away by the beauty of the chateau and the kindest of the staff, Emma, upon arrival. We were met at our car and taken to the chateau where we were met with a cold glass of Sancerre to welcome us before being shown to our room whilst giving us some information regarding the history of the building.
The rooms are immaculate, simple but stunning, with all amenities you could wish for. Lovely and quiet, with a very comfy bed! The views are breathtaking and each window holds a new part of the landscape to appreciate.
Breakfast was magnificent and would highly recommend. We also used the spa which was a delight, very private with just one treatment room.
Sancerre itself is gorgeous to walk around with plenty of places to eat as well as local shops to enjoy.
Our final night we ate at the restaurant within the hotel, this was extraordinary and truly one of the best meals we had ever eaten. The staff were so knowledgeable of both the food and wines of the region and it was a delight.
We did not want to leave and hope to revisit as soon as possible.

This castle has a special feature, the view from the room is extraordinary. Everything is perfect. The quality of the bedding. The chic and tasteful decor. The restaurant, which is excellent. And above all, the discreet and very warm welcome.

Magnificent!
A perfect stay. Incredible place, very welcoming and always smiling staff. I will most certainly return for the high-end quality of the services, the excellent welcome and service, and of course to dine at the restaurant, which was closed the day I arrived.
