An exceptional stay in a place steeped in history

We had a truly wonderful stay at Château du Prada. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and authenticity of this remarkably well-preserved 18th-century château, furnished with great taste and respect for its history.
Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and peaceful, with a very comfortable bed. The owners gave us a wonderfully warm, attentive and generous welcome, sharing the fascinating history of the château and the traditions of the Bas-Armagnac region. Without to forget the Armagnac. Ask for an old one. Less alcool and more flavours!
Breakfast was excellent, generous and prepared with high-quality products. The beautiful grounds, peaceful atmosphere and perfect location in the heart of the charming village of Labastide-d’Armagnac made our experience even more memorable. Thx you Mr and Mrs de Bouglon.
Château du Prada is far more than simply a bed and breakfast: it offers a genuine immersion in French history and Gascon hospitality. A rare and characterful place that we wholeheartedly recommend. We would return without hesitation!

Perfect for those seeking an authentic experience

You will feel like you've gone back in time 200 years. The property is beautiful. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. If you are looking for a 5-star experience, this isn't it. If you want authenticity and cultural immersion, this is for you. The location is extremely convenient for visiting the bastide and local Armagnac producers. Breakfast was excellent - the Baron even made us eggs, farm fresh from their coop. Make sure to visit the cellars and taste the Prada Armagnac. I'm only sad that I didn't have room in our bags to bring more home. Also, we already miss Papette, their little terrier - she's so sweet.

Authentic chateau

A wonderful experience in a chateau steeped in history. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was homemade and very "French." The Armagnac tasting was a real treat, definitely one to repeat.

Great chateau in the South of Les Landes

Great experience, very welcoming hosts.
South west coast of France was packed so we headed in the country side, a great discovery, the owners are very talkative and pleasant, we had a great dinner (confit de canard as a main course, pruneau à l'armagnac for dessert) and also a great armagnac tasting, I greatly recommend this place. A rustic castle that I would go back there with great pleasure.

Des vacances inoubliables

We planned our trip to France since last year. Ten days in Paris and three days in Labastide-d’Armagnak to experience the taste and spirit of the real non-capital France. The reality has exceeded all of our expectations!
Just yesterday we walked in Louvre familiarizing with mode of life of France of XVII century. And today we lived in the XVII century castle stepping up the stairs threadbare by nine generation of Barons du Prada. We walked in the park under the shadow of the age-old trees. We tried Armagnac, which is made according to the recipe handed down from generation to generation.
Hospitality of Philip and Beatrice de Bouillon and their charming daughter Marie Charlotte knows no boundaries. Breakfast and dinner in the spirit of traditional French cuisine, aperitif, wine and digestif - beyond praise. The degustation of the entire line of Armagnac produced by family in two stages - the first day at home and the second day in the garden under a canopy of trees - a symphony! No wonder that we have taken away home not only fond memories of staying at the Chateau du Prada, but also a case of wine and vintage Armagnac.
