Delicious dinner in Baugé

Delicious freshly prepared food. Warmly welcomed by the hostess. Traditional French dishes and rarely presented fare on offer ..my husband thoroughly enjoyed Lièvre Royale - cooked for over 12 hours - I chose the fish - Rouget - lovely! An amuse bouche of celeriac and roll of Serano ham was very tasty to start and later the panacotta with mandarin. Yum.

best restaurant in Baugé

I regularly have lunch at/Ô Prestige.
it is an excellent restaurant and undoubtedly the best restaurant in Baugé and its surroundings.
The quality and presentation of the dishes are there every time.
We are never disappointed.
the welcome from the “boss” makes everything even better.

Clearly a chef who loves food. My experience is many have lost the passion.

We all had outstanding meals. The oysters and cucumbers were a hit with us all, as were the scallops in shells with a dressing that made our eyes close with pleasure. Every dish we chose was perfectly cooked and presented. The wine list was clever and extensive. The service matched the five star food. No wonder every table was full on a Tuesday night in the countryside. Make sure you book. We can’t wait to return during our next visit to France. Merci.

Classic French hospitality

Super little hotel in lovely old town. Bedroom was a tad outre, but that was fun :-) Wonderful restaurant, brought back happy memories of quality family dining over the years. Even with the fall in sterling, prices were reasonable, except perhaps for the wine where margins seem a little anglicised (ie too high).
