Nice hotel

We had a really nice stay. The hotel is well located in Nysted and is a cosy hotel with good rooms and beautiful views.
The owners are very helpful and the hotel has a cozy and homely feeling.
Thanks for a lovely stay, we will definitely come back.

Excellent view from second floor balcony

This was our fifth visit to this hotel with excellent views both to the sea and Ålholm castle. This time we stayed for two nights late April in room 211 at the second floor with a balcony. The weather was fine with sun at the balcony from noon to sunset. The first evening we could have our "take away" dinner at the balcony and also the lunch the second day. At our other visits we stayed in other rooms both with and without balcony. The balcony at the ground floor is bigger than the one on second floor, but the view from the second floor is better. Nysted has much to offer: A route in the tracks of the poet Emil Aarestrup (fine love poems) brings you both close to the castle, along the coast to "Skansen" with beach and camping site and through the center of the oldest parts of Nysted with among other the house where Aarestrup lived, today a museum which can be visited. 15 minutes away by car is among other Fuglsang Kunstmuseum (sometimes with a concert) and Frejlev Skov (with findings from the Stone Age). Within 3 minutes walking from the hotel you reach the excellent and highly recommendable "Restaurant Ø" where we had dinner the second day (reservation needed!).

Really good experience

Cozy hotel located directly to the harbour with lovely views. 2 nights in nice room with balcony to the water. Good atmosphere with helpful and smiling staff as well as owner.
Nice breakfast with good selection.
