do not book!

Very disappointing experience!
During my stay, I personally experienced several serious issues, including bedbugs, sexual harassment, and extremely poor service from the reception staff.
The receptionists were often incompetent and seemed unable to handle basic requests or problems professionally. What made the experience even worse was the attitude from management. I personally witnessed the owner speaking to staff in an arrogant and condescending manner, which was incredibly uncomfortable to witness as a guest.
The hotel also did not feel particularly family-friendly. Given the incidents I experienced during my stay, I would not feel comfortable recommending this hotel to families.
What disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism and accountability. When you pay to stay at a hotel, you expect basic cleanliness, safety, competent staff, and respectful treatment. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that.
I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

Stylish comfortable hotel in best part of town!

Fabulous hotel located a stones throw from Rosenborg castle and in the best part of town . All attractions easily accessible from here.
Nearest metro stop 5 minutes by foot .
A 25 minute walk to the Little Mermaid and the picturesque harbour is just 10 minutes walk away. There’s an array of Christmas markets all within walking distance too.
Our room was warm & comfortable .
Beds were quite firm but comfortable.
The pillows were like clouds but disappeared when laid down on them and did not give much support.
Cleaning of rooms is optional . We requested ours to be done 2 out of 4 nights to ensure we got clean towels.
Tea & coffee were available in the room but only 4 sachets for our whole trip and they weren’t restocked when our room was cleaned .
Shower excellent but no heating or heated towel rail in the bathroom but towels could be dried on the radiator in bedroom.
We requested an upper floor, quiet room . We were given an upper floor but right next to the lift which was noisy in the evening and early morning which disturbed us at times.
We thought it was an odd room to be allocated given our request .
We had also mentioned we were celebrating a big birthday but no acknowledgment of this on our arrival.
We did wonder because of our age they thought we couldn’t walk far down the corridor from the lift so given a room next to it - ha ha! If this was the case, how wrong they were ! We walk 20km+ every day !
Like most Danish people, the reception staff were all friendly and polite.
I highly recommend this hotel if staying in Copenhagen . It’s stylish and comfortable and away from the hustle and bustle.
However, ensure you request a room away from the lift or you will be disturbed!

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for taking the time to write us such an extensive review. We really appreciate your feedback.
We do our very best to accommodate every request we receive from guests upon arrival. However, whether we can accommodate these or not depends on our availability - even though we are very attentive to any request. We are glad to hear that you found your room comfortable.
You are always more than welcome to ask the host in our reception to get a refill on coffee and tea facilities in your room. We do apologize if this wasn't communicated clearly.
We are happy to know that your overall experience with us was great and hope you had a wonderful time in Copenhagen. It would be our pleasure to get the chance to welcome you back, should you ever return to the city.
Best regards

Beautiful photos, poor guest experience

This is my first time writing a negative review, but I want to help future travelers manage expectations.
We arrived on a very hot day, and the hotel was completely unprepared. There is no air conditioning, not even in the lobby. We booked a standard double room (not their smallest category), yet it was tiny, cramped, and stuffy. While the hotel markets itself on Nordic design, the reality felt cheap, complete with basic wall-to-wall carpeting that made the room feel heavier. To make matters worse, the corridors and elevator smelled strongly of fresh, unventilated paint.
When we expressed our disappointment, the staff offered a more ventilated room but charged us an upgrade fee. Given that we hadn't booked their lowest tier, and considering the unlivable room conditions, this upgrade should have been offered free of charge as a basic gesture of good hospitality.
The location is decent, but at this price, you can easily stay in a much more central, fully-equipped hotel, like the 25hours Hotel nearby.
While it might be more pleasant in the winter, they simply failed to handle the summer heat and penalized guests for their lack of climate control.

Great location and a stylish hotel. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is terrible—you can hear every noise from the rooms next door.
For a hotel at this price point, having to request housekeeping on demand with a door sign (which no one mentioned at check-in) is unacceptable. It feels lazy.
The reception staff were very young (teenage girls) and unhelpful. When I asked why our room hadn’t been cleaned, and if they could tidy up I was told, “I’m not housekeeping.”
Wouldn’t stay here again and can’t recommend it.
