A Comfy Stay in Puerto Natales!

Our small film team needed single rooms for each of the crew, and this fit the bill without straining our budget. This comfy, clean inn is centrally located for walking access to lots of great dining and typical services like exchanging currency. The central heating works great and the showers are hot and strong. For us the WiFi was critical and worked well.
Owner Ruben Gallardo is a delightful, helpful innkeeper, supported by his friendly staff. The breakfast is light but fine for our needs.
I'd certainly recommend El Rincón for a very relaxed, comfortable stay. And the next time I'm in Puerto Natales that's where you'll find me.

Lovely stay at rincon

We spent three nights as a base to visit torres del paine abd perito Moreno glacier. Rooms are clean with hot water. Great location with close proxomity to good restaurants. Standard breakfasts with bread jam cheese ham and cereal but host was accommodating when we requested for early (6am) breakkie to go for our tours. The jam is home made on the premise and we enjoyed that. Booking.com awarded them a 8.3 rating which i endorse. Host was friendly and helpful although no English spoken... as is the norm here. Highly recommended

ok, but for the price you can do better

El Rincon is in a good location off Bulnes, one of the main streets of the lovely little town of Puerto Natales. The owner was extremely welcoming and warm and nothing was too much trouble.
It's a small hostel, nothing special from the outside and a little dark in the entrance area/dining room.
I noticed a few reviews have described the rooms as "big". I definitely wouldn't say so, and ours looked out onto a high brick wall about 45cm from the window!
There is a heater in the bathroom and we had a decent shower and a good enough rest, but I found the place a bit poky and depressing overall.

Very 60's!

Like stepping back in time.
Rooms are large, and very clean.
Small bathroom with shower over bath.
No safe
Good Wifi in rooms
Walls are paper thin......in fact the snorer next door kept me awake!
Very nice, helpful Owner who will arrange tours etc.
Nice simple breakfast.
Just off the main street and very quiet.

A great find off the beaten trail

Only a couple (small) blocks off the main drag, and down dirt/gravel alley way, we were a little concerned walking up to this spot, but how pleasantly surprised we were. we had a clean, private room, with a private bath as well, beds were comfy, and it was nice and quite. The Woman that greeted us knew exactly who we were, she and her whole family worked the Hostel and they were very nice and helpful overall. They let us leave our extra bags there at no cost while we went trekking about for the week. The breakfast was on time and a great start to the day. I have not one complaint about this this spot and highly recommend it for other travelers if you are looking for something off the main drag, quite, and totally reasonable.
