A luxury experience!
Our stay at Rosemead House was exceptional from start to finish. The grounds and property are absolutely breathtaking, meticulously maintained, and feel both elegant and welcoming. Having traveled extensively around the world and stayed in many luxury hotels, we can honestly say that Rosemead House is the most beautiful and thoughtfully designed hotel we have ever experienced.
The design throughout the hotel is stunning. Every room and common space feels carefully curated, with beautiful furnishings, thoughtful details, and a timeless elegance that creates a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. It is clear that every design decision was made with intention, resulting in a property that feels truly special.
Every detail throughout the hotel has been considered, right down to the refrigerated creamer provided for coffee in the room—a small touch that made a big impression. One of our favorite amenities was the self-service coffee setup on our floor each morning. It was convenient, beautifully presented, and a wonderful way to start the day.
Check-in was seamless thanks to Eva, who provided a warm welcome and outstanding service from the moment we arrived.
We also had a fantastic dining experience at Janevca. The food was delicious, and Sergio was one of the best servers we have ever had. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality elevated an already exceptional meal into a truly memorable experience.
The breakfast service each morning was another highlight of our stay and is not to be missed. Every meal was beautifully prepared, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect way to begin the day and reflected the same level of quality and attention to detail found throughout the entire property.
Rosemead House has clearly put tremendous thought into every aspect of the guest experience, from the stunning grounds and exceptional design to the outstanding service and dining. It is rare to find a property where luxury, comfort, hospitality, and beauty come together so perfectly. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria

Beautiful hotel and amazing rooms! The only thing that could be better is: 1) the surroundings are still under construction so keep that ind mind before making a booking. 2) we mentioned that it was our honeymoon, also to the restaurant, but there were no mention of that other than when checking in. We would expect for a 4-5 star hotel that it would be mentioned or played attention to. This might be because it is new.
3) The surroundings are beautiful, however, there were not many places to sit and relax, not even indoors. I get that it’s a boutique hotel of sorts, but it would be nice with more relaxing places to relax outside, especially when the weather is good and there’s not pool. For example being able to sit outside with a drink in the garden area which could have elevated the experience.

The Rosemead House is very charming! It is beautiful, elegant, funky and fun! I love the old world charm mixed with funky modern designs. We spent a couple
Of nights there this summer as part of a BC holiday and I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed it.
The restaurant, Janevca, is what brought us here. On our last trip to Victoria we stayed somewhere else and the concierge recommended the restaurant. It was incredible! Once we walked I the the hotel we knew we wanted to stay here on out next trip. And, so we did! I cannot recommend the restaurant and hotel enough!

We stayed in the original portion of the property because we love the old style hotels. The property and location to downtown were excellent. One of our favorite places that we have ever stayed.
