Nice room but had to empty the previous people's rubbish out of the bathroom so not a great start. The carpets in the hallway and around the pool area were very messy it all needed a good hoover. So first impression wasn't great. It was okay would I stay there again probably not.

Sandman in Castlegar 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 in our book. First the room we have is very clean and roomy, parking spot right by our window. Amenities are very well maintained. STAFF are very respectful, polite, helpful and informative, Marie and Sharon 5 Stars.
Marie thank you for the information on what we can do and see around Castlegar. The Filipino KUBO Restaurant great meals . The Sculpture around town, took photos btw. Amazing Walks around town. The heritage and the brilliant suspensions bridge.
To the Management of Sandman thank you. God Bless and keep up the good work. Hope to see you soon Sandman Castlegar

Reception person was very helpful at check in and when we asked to move to another room as the wall fan was very noisy. Second room was clean & bed was comfortable.
We wanted to use the pool but when we looked at it, it didn't look clean. Green colour. Also, the atrium isn't like the picture shows, not plants or trees, nothing! The complimentary breakfast was a serve yourself & as items expected. For one night it is as good as it gets in Castlegar.

Front desk staff was very helpful; room was clean and comfortable. Was a bit of left over garbage missed by the cleaning staff from a previous stay. Carpeted stairs up to the second floor looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while.

I stayed at the sandman in August with my mom and young daughter. The staff was great! The pool was great! The location was convenient. The breakfast included was decent. All in all good.
