Cheapest room for traveller

Just 14USD for room 2 beds, we've stayed here with 4 people.
It's saved money for us.
The room here is OK(large and clean), and the view of Guesthouse is nice also.
The owner is so welcoming and greeting

Great value at just $10 a night

My lovely wife and I spent two nights at this hotel when visiting San Monorom. It offers excellent value accommodation at just $10 a night for a double room. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The shower is hot but the water pressure is low. The WiFi signal is also pretty weak. But it's hard to complain at this price! The hotel is located less than ten minutes walk from the main street. However, it's not as quiet as you might expect as the resident rooster and a few neighbourhood dogs team up to ensure that you're awake bright and early. But all in all a pleasant stay at a great price.
Not somewhere to stay if you want to hang out, relax and enjoy the view but ideal for a short stay before or after a trek or elephant experience.

The perfect place for the budget traveler

If you have made your way to Mondulkiri then you are in for a treat. The Phanyro Guest House is the perfect place for the budget traveler to stay while visiting. While the cost is low the accommodation is more than worth every dollar. The small cabin style accommodation is just what I was looking for. The Guest House is located just a short walk from the main area of Sen Monorom and you will find it to be a quiet well-kept escape. The staff speaks English and is very friendly and accommodating

Good clean budget accommodation

I ended up here by default as I was meant to be on an overnight jungle trek but had a bad fall and hurt my leg so couldn’t continue. I had been staying at Nature Lodge but they were fully booked so arranged for me to stay here one night. I liked it so much I stayed a second night and didn’t return to the Nature Lodge as planned. It’s easy walking distance to Main Street with lots of food options. My room had a comfortable double bed and a fan oscillating that was perfect for me. The only negatives were there was little water pressure in the shower, you have to wait along time for hot water, the bathroom shelf kept falling down and there was no toilet paper, so I bought a roll myself. But honestly for $8usd a night it was clean and comfortable and I would recommend.

Good Location, Helpful staff

Like many of the in-town facilities, the expectation seems to be that guests will be away from the room most of the time. Therefore they are basic (and inexpensive). The mud road is difficult for about three blocks, but after that it opens into the active part of town with restaurants and shops.
The guest house is more charming than most, but there is little to do there other than sleep. Rooms are clean, but the hot water was broken. Management is kind and considerate.
