Not given for Bulgaria but very good

The price is a little excessive in season (room, restaurant, bar) but the hotel is very good, clean room, thermal waters.
There is a small soccer field, ping pong (a bit too bad), booling. It’s quite complete but you have to pay for everything.

Worst Hotel I have ever been. It ahouls not be listed as 4star hotel, but a hostel

The worst vacation and experience and this is 4* hotel. All below is not a lie and really happened to us. For start the type room is not very well explained and has no photos on their website. We expected one two person bed and separate one for the kid - we ended with 3 separate beds on the 3 corners of the room - when asked the hotel did not want to move those (which was easily achievable). The room was not clean - dust and toilet was obvously dirty. The bath holder was worn out, especially where you put the soap, which was all in microplastics and changed its colour. The lobby boy was really unhelpful - did not even ask to carry the bags and left it for ourselves, not a big deal - seems they do not expect a tip. On the 1st night for dinner in their Panorama restaurant after 20min wait we were asked what we will order without having any menu cards. One of the bathrobes was really torn on the sleeve. When we were leaving for the SPA we noticed that now both of the cards to unlock the room where not working - we mentioned the reception and they said those are fixed, but then post the SPA we had to wait in front of the room wet and with bathrobes on for the service guy to fix it (the only person doing smth good and caring as he was running the stairs to help us) - the issue was that the AA batterries powering the door lock were gone. The window in the room was blowing like you are outside on the wind - this was just the 1st day there - receptionists this day showed no customer care or any sort of understanding (apart from replacing the torn bathrobe). The 2nd day we decided to go to Karlovo and have lunch there - just to figure out that we have a screw in the tyre - to clarify this was Rent-a-car with sensors for tyre pressure and this showed alert when we left the hotel parking! The last night we were there we decided to visit and play some bowling or not really (working hours for the day were listed as 18:00-24:00), we went there at 22:40 and the guy there said that he will close in 20 mins and will not wait for us to finish a game - he mentioned that it was an order from his boss! This was by far the worst hotel and vacation we have ever had. It was the 3rd or 4th time we go there, but surely will be the last.

This is definitely not a 4* hotel !!

We were given our room which was dark and depressing and the air-con didn’t work the door to the balcony was broken we had to ask for a kettle if we wanted a drink which also didn’t work not a good start!
I booked a deal with breakfast and evening meal thinking their would be some choice like a fixed menu with wine oh no it turned out to be a buffet with very little choice and not very good quality no wine just water, breakfast wasn’t much better.
As for the spa facilities not sure how long ago they took the pictures must have been a while we moaned about the room and got moved to a much better room at least we got one good nights sleep, to expensive for what it is nice town though.

Relaxing stay

My colleagues and I had a wonderful stay at SPA hotel Hisar. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The spa facilities are excellent - especially the mineral pools and saunas. The location is great, surrounded by nature.

Perfect break

Brilliant can’t fault a single thing , hotel was very busy we was here for New year , we stayed in the vice president suite , in a word , enormous , very well kept and clean , good room service even on New Year’s Day the cleaning ladies came round usual minibar supplied , stately carpets, traditional high quality furniture, fabulous king bed in both rooms , evening entertainment was very good too , and everything from traditional Bulgarian dancing to chalga , so there was something for everyone , pool beautiful and clean inside and out
