✨ Welcome Back to Paradise – Meta Rocks Barefoot Never Disappoints ✨
I had the pleasure of staying at Meta Rocks – Barefoot again, and this visit truly exceeded all expectations. I first stayed here about a year and a half ago, and honestly, one of the main reasons I chose to come back was because of the incredible service—especially from Javier at the bar. I’m so happy to say he is still just as amazing. Javier goes above and beyond, not only making fantastic drinks but creating an experience that feels personal and memorable. He’s a huge part of what makes this place special.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Zamir at the front desk, who made check-in smooth and inviting. The hospitality here is unmatched—every staff member makes you feel genuinely appreciated and at home.
When we walked into our room, we were blown away. They had prepared a beautiful “welcome back” setup (see photos), which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. It immediately set the tone for the entire stay.
The accommodations were already great when I first visited, but they’ve elevated everything since then. The upgrades are stunning—the design, aesthetics, and attention to detail are absolutely beautiful. You can tell they’ve invested in creating not just a place to stay, but an experience.
The pool upgrades are gorgeous—such a perfect place to relax, with an elevated, polished feel that really enhances the whole property. And the beach? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s right there, pristine, and consistently free of seagrass, which makes it even more enjoyable and picture-perfect.
Overall, Meta Rocks – Barefoot continues to impress on every level. Between the exceptional staff, the upgraded accommodations, and the unforgettable atmosphere, I cannot recommend it enough. We will absolutely be back again!

Very nice quiet property. The staff were very friendly. The bartenders were super nice and made great drinks. Food was also fantastic. Will definitely come back to stay.

Upon arrival I was expecting a nicer place more luxurious, but at the end the room was very clean and nice, the restaurant serves were very polite and food was very good, prices were affordable, overall we enjoy our stay

The hotel is a cute comfortable little boutique space close to everything! The staff is outstanding! Zamir, James and Martha made me feel like family! My room was clean, well kept and stocked everyday the bed was very comfortable and soft pillows! The bar and kitchen staff(James) was like talking to an old friend! Fun, kind and caring and super helpful! He did everything around the hotel. The food was fresh and very tasty along with the drinks. The pool was clean and refreshing. If your ever in Belize San Pedro don't miss out on staying at this GEM! Thank you Staff for such a great stay! Jackie Bates

It's a wonderful location right on the beach!
The staff was nice and accommodating and the food at the bar was great. I will say there is alot of sargassum in the water right of the shore so I didn't go swimming but that has nothing to do with the property itself.
Would recommend if you're staying in San Pedro!
