This is a beautiful property! I highly recommend a room with a balcony and view of the river. The rooms were modern, clean, a wonderful shower and relaxingly quiet. We used the spa in the evening and it was perfect-clean and refreshing. The breakfast in the morning was the best we have had in Europe! The selection was very big, coffee amazing and such care with our entire experience. The only thing we were sad about is that we inly stayed one night bc of other travel plans

Compared to other hotels in town, the rooms at this price point are much smaller, with small windows facing inwards. There are no refrigerators, etc. Most importantly!!! the bathroom door lock is broken, and the door cannot be closed properly. Overall, it’s not good.

Modern, stylish city hotel with a love for Bad Ischl

Spent the perfect short vacation with an overnight stay at the Goldenes Schiff from check-in to check-out. Expectations were fully met, and definitely plan a dinner at Traun Town as well.

It was a great hotel, good breakfast, and good service; the only thing that bothered us was the water that kept appearing next to the toilet.

Everything was actually very great: huge rooms, friendly staff, and it was worth the money; there was also a sauna, a small fitness room, and everything that goes with it.
