Perfect place to stay.

It was our first trip to St. George, Queensland, and we randomly chose to stay at Riverland Motor Inn & River’s Restaurant — a decision we’re very happy with. The motel is conveniently located close to the town centre, making it an ideal stopover.
After a long journey, we arrived late at night, but everything had been thoughtfully arranged for us. The staff had prepared the room in advance, including turning on the air conditioning, and provided clear instructions for key collection. Everything was handled professionally and with great care, which we truly appreciated.
Our accommodation was spacious and well-equipped, featuring two bedrooms with four beds (three singles and one queen). It also included a kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and biscuits, along with cutlery and other essentials. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels and toiletries.
The rooms were neat and tidy, and the overall property was well maintained. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, which is a nice addition for guests.
In the morning, River’s Restaurant offers breakfast, making the stay even more convenient.
The area felt safe, quiet, and relaxing — perfect after a long day of travel.
We highly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to St. George or simply looking for a comfortable overnight stop.

We had an extremely quiet, comfortable room at the rear of the courtyard motel. It had all the usual amenities plus microwave and toaster and was large enough to accommodate a breakfast table and chairs. The walk-in shower was huge and had a grab bar. There is no vanity bench in the bathroom, a basin in the bench outside doubles as vanity and sink for washing up. We were unable to access free to air TV channels. We rang the bell at reception to ask for help but the bell was not answered
If, like us, you choose this motel for the convenience of dining in the on-site restaurant, do ring to make sure the restaurant will be operating. Because the restaurant was closed, we had to drive to the Australian Hotel. The meal was good.
