Don’t book there ! Save yourself a bad experience & read all the negative reviews, I wish I had ! I couldn’t stay there,
Don’t book there, read the reviews, tweeters, cockroaches, overflowing stinking skip bin! Broken stacked furniture & abandoned supermarket trolleys outside rooms ! Damaged panels in the cars in the carpark ! Management refuses to give refunds, on a place that is nothing like the advertisement on the Agoda .com booking sites ! Agoda just pass es the buck back to management, it’s disgraceful the condition of this property

Browns Broadbeach is a Dive, I booked through Agoda.com & paid for one nights stay on 15th January.
On arrival, I could see it was nothing like the pictures on Agoda.com, Booking.com & Wotif.com sites.
The office was unattended, so i rang three time & walked around the premises, there were cars in the parking lot that had dents on all the panels, the skip bin was overflowing & stank, outside the rooms were stacked broken furniture & abandoned shopping trolleys. Families were sitting on the steps outside their rooms, kids & teenagers running around.
The air conditioning unit frames were all rusted & a substance, like mould was stained on the walls.
Vehicles parked at the back in the carpark had damaged panels & it didn't look like a place to leave your car, especially with the stinking skip bin.
I text the office number & said I didn't feel safe for myself & my vehicle staying there the night & asked for a refund.
Their text back, was "unfortunately we cannot refund it. Thank you for your understanding.
Fortunately my friends had booked an apartment with a pull out lounge, which I gladly accepted for the night as it was coming on dark & I couldn't have slept a wink in Browns Broadbeach.
I went there the next morning & asked to see the room, I was to have slept in.
The person in the office had very little knowledge of English, or acted, like it.
She said that the Motel was given government money to house people from war torn countries ( refugees) hence the families & teenagers.
There was mould in the bathroom & the room had a weird smell to it.
Outside the door, in the carport, broken furniture was stacked high & abandoned shopping trolleys were littered around the premises.
They still refused to give me a refund, even though i didn't use the room & explained about the advertisements online were nothing like the run down condition of the premises.
agoda.com say in their advertising, there's a 24/7 phone number etc etc.
I found an email address & they just referred me back to the supposed Motel.
The health department really needs to have a look at this place. staff looked very underage & a question on their visas might be asked.
The reviews I have read, since my experience, say the same thing, not as advertised, filthy, cockroaches, how can they get away with this...

I was pleasantly surprised at first to have received a so called upgraded room, only to find my SINGLE BED was positioned opposite the toilet. The beds were all on wheels (could not stop beds moving).
The shower was only to be able to be used without cold water and very low pressure.
Every door squeeked and difficult to open quietly.
The cheapest coffee....
NOT GOOD VALUE for money at all.
We were not told next door was a construction site either.
The only positive thing was a decent mattress.

Room not like photos, like they had transformed garage into room. Piping hanging out, no room for anything. Power cords dangling across corner of room to tv. Would not recommend

Kitchen refrigerator may need to fix as water was on the floor
