What is the best time to visit Hyderabad?
Hyderabad's warmest months are April and May, with average daily temperatures over 30°C. The coolest month is December, which still averages at 22°C.

Arriving in Hyderabad
Hyderabad's airport, known officially as Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD), is 20km from the city centre. It has a single terminal for all travellers.
As well as public buses, an express bus service (Pushpak) is available. Making stops at various points across the city, this will cost between 106 rupees and 265 rupees for a 1-way trip.
Taxis are also available outside the terminal. The only licensed taxis are Meru and Sky Cabs. These should run on the meter, but be sure to check this before you get in. A trip into the city centre should be around 600 rupees, but if you're haggling a price, aim for 500 rupees.
Useful tips about Hyderabad
It's advised to dress conservatively when visiting religious sites in India. It's also the custom to remove your shoes before entering a temple or someone's home.
Although you should drink plenty of water while you're away, avoid drinking tap water.
Local custom dictates that it's rude to use your left hand for eating, pointing or giving/receiving an item.
