Departing from Brisbane

Brisbane Airport (BNE) can be reached from the city centre in 15 minutes by road or 25 minutes on the Brisbane Airtrain. Flights to Hyderabad use the International Terminal, which is on the other side of the airport from the Domestic Terminal. Free shuttle transfers connect the 2 terminals.

All check-in counters are on level 4, with departures on levels 3 and 4 depending on the airline. International fliers are advised to get to the airport 3 hours early to avoid problems, and there are plenty of shops, food options and other facilities to help pass the time before your flight.

Arriving in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Airport (HYD), officially called Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, is about 20km south of the city. All flights arrive at the same terminal, with international flights arriving on the western side. After you clear immigration and customs, you'll arrive in the airport village meeting point where you can arrange transport to your hotel, or you can browse the shops and other facilities.

A taxi to the city should cost between 650 and 800 rupees, with a 25% surcharge at night. You can also take the Pushpak – Airport Liner bus, which connects with several points around Hyderabad and costs 106 to 265 rupees, depending on the distance.
