Travel Information

·         Take the Av. Rio Churubusco, then the Eje 1 Ote, and the Mexico 113 Freeway to the centre of the city. Skyscanner’s car hire search tool can help you browse and reserve a car for your stay in Mexico, but if you’d rather wait and sort out the booking when you arrive at the airport, you can locate the car rental offices in the arrivals area of both the domestic and the international terminals.

·         Mexico City has an excellent Metro link between the airport and the city centre, with the journey only taking about 20 minutes, for a cheap and cheerful fare of 3MXN (20 cents). There are also buses that operate to the airport, though these can take much longer, especially in traffic, with journey times generally taking over an hour. Airport transfers are a good alternative if you don’t fancy taking public transport.

·         Taxis aren’t terribly expensive, from 300-400MXN ($20-28), but can take 40 minutes to an hour depending on how bad the traffic is.
