Here you must explore the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery in this world-famous square overlooked by Nelson.

From this point you can choose to wander up to Leicester Square and the West End where many of the theatres are, or grab a bite to eat in quirky Covent Garden. Or if you are not tired, then wander down Pall Mall and up to Buckingham Palace.

There is also much to see along the River Thames, where a day spent walking the banks will have you pass Westminster, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Tate Modern and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
