Also known simply as Biarritz Airport or Biarritz-Parme Airport, Biarritz – Anglet – Bayonne Airport is a public airport that serves Biarritz in France. The airport is situated approximately five kilometres or 3.1 miles southeast of Biarritz, near Bayonne and Anglet. Biarritz – Anglet – Bayonne Airport resides at an elevation of 245 feet, or 75 metres above mean sea level. It has an asphalt runway that measures 7,382 feet or 2,250 metres long, designated 09/27. In 2013, it handled about 1.1 million passengers.

Biarritz in the department of Pyrenees-Atlantiques of south-western France’s Aquitaine region is situated on the Bay of Biscay, on the Atlantic coast. This seaside town is considered as a luxury tourist destination, particularly popular among surfers. In Biarritz, some of the most remarkable points of interest include the Asiatica Museum, with a collection of Asian Art mostly from India, Nepal, Tibet, and China; the Museum of the Sea that houses 24 aquaria of sharks and seals; St-Martin’s Church; the Russian Orthodox Church known for its blue dome; the Hotel du Palais on the beach; the Museum of Chocolate; and the Barriere and Bellevie casinos on the waterfront by the Grande Plage.

There is a golf course near the lighthouse of Le Phare, as well as a circular golf range area near the border with Ilbarritz. The popular surf beaches in Biarritz include Cote de Basque on the Boulevard du Prince de Galles.
