Highly Recommend!
We had a wonderful stay at the Silvershell Inn! The Inn itself is beautiful, and the grounds are absolutely immaculate. Our hosts, Jean and George, are such a warm, inviting, and wonderful couple who made us feel right at home, and they made a delicious breakfast each morning. The towns of Marion and Mattapoisett are quintessential coastal New England—so charming and picturesque. We highly recommend a stay here!

Incredible B&B!
George and Jean are delightful. Their house is very cozy. It has the charm of an old New England home and all the amenities, if not more, than a newer home. The beds were great. The hosts take great pride in taking care of their guests, from the reception to departure. Breakfast is something special, prepare to be impressed with your made to order breakfast. They take care of every detail! We look forward to returning!

Beautiful Inn and Hosts
Gary and I had the pleasure of staying at the Silvershell Inn in September. It is THE nicest B&B we have ever stayed in, and we have been guests at many. The home itself is tastefully decorated with fine art and furnishings. There are many antiques that come from George and Jeans family, going back 100 years and more. The guest room was clean, pleasant, quiet and a delight. Breakfast was wonderful and the coffee tasty and hot! We enjoyed ourselves very much and recommend this lovely Inn 100%. It is truly "top shelf" and luxurious!

Dive into New England and feel like part of the family
We chose to stay at the Silvershell Inn due to its prime location, making it easy to explore Cape Cod and nearby attractions from one central spot. We were also excited about the idea of experiencing local hospitality in a cozy bed-and-breakfast setting.
What we particularly loved:
- Warm Welcome from the Host Family: From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. Throughout our stay, we were cared for with such kindness. This started with a detailed discussion about our breakfast preferences, receiving personalized local recommendations, and even help with our luggage and a private tour of the charming town of Marion.
- Breakfast: George, one of the hosts, took great care in discussing and tailoring our breakfasts for each day of our four-day stay. The attention to detail was fantastic, and every morning we enjoyed something fresh and delicious. The fruit bowls, in particular, featured homegrown fruits from the Inn’s own garden, which made the meals feel extra special.
- Rooms: The rooms were spotless and well-maintained.
- House and Garden: Lovingly designed, offering a high-quality, classic New England aesthetic. Staying here feels like stepping into a piece of the family's history.
- Location: The Inn is ideally situated for exploring key destinations such as Cape Cod, Plymouth, and other southeastern New England hot spots.
- Engaging Guests: We had the pleasure of meeting other fascinating guests during breakfast, adding to the charm of our stay.
In summary: We felt incredibly comfortable and well cared for, thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, and would love to return to the Silvershell Inn in the future.

Lovely, well-kept inn with great service.
We booked space for wedding guests. At the last minute, we had some cancellations which management graciously adjusted for in our reservations. Apart from that, it is a lovely property that gives great access to Marion or nearby towns. Our friends loved their stay, and we thoroughly recommend checking Silvershell out!
