Wonderful

Shadow rest Inn is a beautiful old mansion. The room was exquisitely refurbished and a very comfortable bed.
The covered was wonderful to have morning coffee, read, or wine in the evening.

Great stay! The owners are great hosts and super friendly. It’s a very underrated property and I look forward to staying here again!

The room was dirty. Bathroom was not cleaned - pee stains on the toilet seat, used soap bar with hair in the shower, floor was clearly not vacuumed.

Room appeared to have been untouched in sometime and could have used a cleaning. Rest of the house did not feel inviting or welcoming. While I can acknowledge recent renovations everything was still in disarray weeks after the renovations and it just didn’t feel like a vacation away. Breakfast options were not much and it was very cold in the dining room - not really any enjoyable meal. The pictures and prior reviews I did feel were somewhat misleading. The host was courteous but I would not return again.

Room was clean and cozy, bathroom was very nice with heated floors. Comfy bed. Brendan was awesome! Very charming, would definitely stay again.
