Amazing,conmfterble,friendly

After going on a hike I was exhausted and went in to charge my phone and get a bite to eat. The guy that was there was super friendly and nice and I talked with him for a bit but that’s not even the best part the food is amazzzzzzing I got the chipotle chicken sandwich ate it and ordered another one genuinely did not expat that from a cafe I entered it was so good, the staff was amazing and the lance was comfterble, o highly recommend going here while your down there.

Friendliest owner!

I took my wife here for a surprise 30th weekend getaway and couldn’t have gone better. Owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and celebrate the occasion. Will definitely be going back!

A warm, family-run gem worth every star

The owners, Jimmy and his wife, are amazing hosts. They welcomed us as if we were old friends, making us feel instantly at home and part of the family.
After we settled in, we enjoyed lunch. Jimmy prepared a delicious shrimp mango salad for me, and my sister loved her panini—all dishes were exceptional. The food was spectacular.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a bed that was incredibly comfy. This place is charming, and the staff were fantastic and hospitable throughout our stay.
Our visit was wonderful, and the hospitality surpassed any five-star hotel I’ve stayed at. I will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend for a warm, memorable stay you’ll want to repeat.

Charming hotel with top notch hospitality

Me and my partner had an excellent stay at Cold Spring Hotel! The room was immaculate and had everything we needed and the owner Jimmy was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The cafe downstairs has delicious breakfast (the pancakes in particular) and a charming view of the Main Street. Would definitely recommend for any stays in Cold Spring.

An average-room turned 5-star-stay thanks to the owner

A little bit torn writing this review. I wish there was a way to rate the owner separate from the rooms, so I will try to be as fair as possible. Let's start with the positives:
- The owner: A true superstar. Makes you feel right at home from the moment you step in. We had some problem with the reservation and he helped us solve it swiftly and kindly. He offered us lemonade and was genuinely interested in making our stay comfortable. Cannot say enough about him. It was like staying with your uncle (your nice, pleasant uncle, not the other one)
- The location: this little town doesn't have much but it's worth a visit for its few quirky little shops and restaurants. This hotel is bang in the middle of it all.
The not-so-positive is sadly the room. It is clean, but that's where it ends. It's a bit too narrow, the decor a bit too old, the walls/doors a bit too thin... but for a one night stay and to support the great owner, we would probably stay here again!
