Movënpick review
We stayed at Mövenpick with our family last week and had such a wonderful time! The staff were all fantastic, but we’d especially like to thank Mouhyb, who was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after all week. Every morning at breakfast, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel so welcome. His exceptional customer service was very nice. Thank you, Mouhyb, and the other staff for making our stay even more special. We can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. From the warm welcome to the outstanding service, everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. I would especially like to thank the fitness team, particularly the coaches Amine, Nour, and Chaïma. They are highly skilled, enthusiastic, and incredibly motivating. Every day they organized a variety of fun sports activities, including pool games, aqua fitness sessions, and other energetic entertainment that created a fantastic atmosphere. Their passion and dedication made my holiday even more enjoyable and unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with excellent facilities and an outstanding sports and entertainment team. I will definitely come back again!

Air Conditioning Failure and Poor Customer Service
I am disappointed with my experience at Mövenpick Resort & Marine Spa Sousse. I booked a 3-night stay (21–24 July). The air conditioning in Room 8039 was working when I arrived, but it stopped working during my stay.
I reported the problem immediately. A maintenance technician came to the room, but unfortunately the issue was not resolved. I was then informed that it would be fixed tomorrow, which is not an acceptable solution when I have already paid for my stay and need a comfortable room tonight.
I also found the way my complaint was handled disappointing. The receptionist was not very welcoming and came across as rude, and I did not feel that my concern was treated with the urgency I expected from a five-star hotel.
I hope the hotel management improves both its maintenance response and customer service. Guests should not have to spend the night in a room without proper air conditioning while waiting until the next day for a repair.

FANTASTIC HOTEL & STAFF
My wife picked this little diamond of a hotel. The hotel was very nice and tidy and the food was some of the best all inclusive food I have had since staying in all inclusive hotels. The rooms are very nice and kept clean to a high standard. the staff were excellent and helpt us out all the time. As I am registered blind the staff stepped up and helped my wife in the dining room. The TVs in our room was a modern TV with an android TV box and HDMI sockets for those who might have a firestick or other HDMI device they wanted to plug into the TV. We found little touches in the room were really good e.g. there is a switch by the door that puts a read light on or green light, which lets staff know you don't want to be disturbed. Also, there is an actually door buzzer on the rooms, so staff can ring your doorbell if they want speak with you. There is a kettle in the room with cups and tea and coffee. There was also some cans of soda in the fridge.
The cleaners kept the room to a very high standard, we stayed in room 5061, which had a sea view. There was some noise from surrounding hotels, but this ended usually around 11pm. Also around the corner is an open air night club, which could be heard some nights, but this seemed to stop at the same time most nights, 11pm.
The pool was really nice and was kept clean. There didn't seem to be any issues getting sunbeds in the morning, and if you gave the pool guys a little tip, they would ensure your beds were ready for you in the morning! The pool service by the pool staff/waiters was awsome, what an excellent service. There was some work going on next to the pool, which was a bit noisy from time to time, but it didn't really bother us too much.
When we were sat in the foyer of the hotel relaxing, we found the only snag was that the staff were quite slow when we ordered drinks, but to be fair, it was very busy. I have to say that I couldn't fault the staff they were excellent
There was some little issues with other guests in the hotel not respecting other guests e.g there seemed to be a lot of shouting and screaming going on late at night and for some reason people started getting up at 4 - 4:30 in the morning making a terrible racket disturbing other guests.
For those who like to go to the room to cool down, the aircon in the rooms seemed to be spot on. Our rooms was nicely chilled once we had had enought by the pool. My wife had to put an extra blanket on though, she found it a little too cold, even though I found it very plesant!
I think it's safe to say we will be going back at some point, most likely next year for our daughters 21 birthday.
