Clean big room , we had some chocolates and water as a welcome gifts. I liked their hospitability and attention to details, cool location close to Germany and 20 min to Zurich airport , helpful staff , I will go back again and recommend this hotel. Did not had breakfast or other meals so I dont know their food quality but overall my stay was 5/5. Thank you Riverside team :)

Good hotel with very friendly staff

Large, well equipped rooms.
Very friendly staff.
Off the beaten track.
Ample parking.
Good breakfast.
Fully appealing design
Funny is the classic car exhibition.
Getting used to the glass toilet
All in all a good address

Not for Recommendation

I was at a seminar for two days there.
At lunch there were two menus to choose from (meat and vegi).
The Vegi menu on the first day was a better vegetable soup and on the second day there was hedging apple stick with peas and beets.
The preparation was very loveless.
The break catering at the seminar was no longer okay.
The rooms were very nice but unheated. Too cold and you felt more like you were on a SAC hut.

The Riverside - an oasis near Zurich

For the Swiss Yarn Festival 2025 I have treated myself to 2 nights in one of the lodge rooms. I was very satisfied from A-Z. The room is very harmonious and comfortably furnished, the terrace overlooking the Glatt, birdsong included. Magnificent - so you can sometimes withdraw from the hustle and bustle of the fair and store the shopping ☺️, or take a nice walk along the Glatt. The breakfast and food in the restaurants were very fine, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Conclusion: Many thanks to the entire crew - I would love to come back and look forward to my next stay. C. from Tuggen
