I recommend it

Small and nice hotel.
It has an FA-VO-LO-SA view on the north face of the Eiger. The concierge was really nice, he took the trouble to speak "good German" with us Ticinoans, when EVERYONE speaks only Bernese dialect (and also narrow) and English.
He explained how to get around Grindelwald by public transport and where (and how) to take the transport to get on the Jungfrau.
He's committed, I have to say.
Thank you.
The hotel is about 600 m from Grindelwald station, NOT from the terminal, but from the terminus. But there are buses coming and going, so no problem.

There was no refrigerator in my hotel room, so I was in a hurry to keep my prescriptions.

There was no refrigerator in my room, so I panicked. Because my husband had to keep his pre-existing medicine in the fridge. I immediately called the tour guide, but he couldn't get through. It turned out later that the guide didn't have a telephone in his room.
My husband was temporarily panicking when he couldn't reach the tour guide even though he had called her many times. The receptionist at the front desk was running out of time to get home. However, he managed to negotiate with the hotel receptionist in unfamiliar English to have the medicine placed in the refrigerator of the hotel kiosk, which was a no-brainer.
Some of the same tour-goers said they didn't have a phone in their room.
My room had a telephone. It made me realize again that unlike Japan, going abroad can mean many things.
There was drinking water in a bottle in the room. We used the water to make instant foods that we brought from Japan.

The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room.
However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking.
The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done.
The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good.
The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet.
Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)
