Classic hotel now renewed!

Very nice hotel in central Linköping. Classic hotel currently being updated. Quiet rooms although the hotel is centrally located.
Very good breakfast in a renewed and nice dining room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is located in heart of Linköping. Close to everything.
Breakfast is fantastic like in all Elite hotels.
Coming with car is a bit tricky though.

Could be better

The staff seemed distracted. Scrambled eggs and bacon out even though it was over 1 hour until breakfast would close. Someone has totally missed the interior of an otherwise fantastic building. Flashing fluorescent lights in the bathroom. When something is called Elite you automatically get a little higher expectations and there was something very wrong.

Great location

Stayed only one night in a deluxe room. Very spacious. Unfortunately there were construction on the house so scaffolding outside the window. The room seemed clean but we found both an empty bag of chips and a champagne cork on the floor. Breakfast was nice.

The location was amazing and the breakfast that was included was very good.
We were in an older room so we understand that they needed renovation, but the construction during a week day started very early. Overall a great stay!
