Great room, too many steps

We didn’t realise this place correctly only has two rooms, to get anywhere including the rooms you have to go up many steep steps the room itself was very nice had everything you needed including a wonderful balcony a wonderful view. Everything seem to be done by one young man housekeeping ,breakfast etc
The breakfast itself was quite nice. They gave you a choice all freshly cooked. If you are fit this is a good place to stay withall the steps.

You should stay here!

This place was wonderful!! Our room was spacious, had a fridge (major bonus!) and a gorgeous view! Most of all we loved the location of Third Eye. It was close enough to town (short walk) but away from the craziness of Ella. Also, the young man who took care of us was so amazing! Always making sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast he served to us was incredible! The best breakfast of our 5 weeks in Sri Lanka. So huge (way too huge) with a big plate of fruit and delicious juices. I cannot recommend Third Eye Ella enough. It was our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka!

Fantastic stay in Ella

This was a fantastic place to stay, just a two minute walk into the main town of Ella. The room was comfortable and well equipped with everything you required including toiletries, a fridge, tea and coffee and bottle opener etc. The owner was on hand to greet us and answer any queries and our bags were taken up to our room. The room is up steps, but these are easy to navigate & unless you have real mobility problems these really are not an issue at all. Both mornings we were served a very tasty breakfast that included pancakes, fresh fruit, scrambled egg, toast, coffee and fresh fruit juice. The room had stunning views over the valley. This is a fantastic place to stay. If we were returning to Ella we would definitely stay here again & absolutely reccomend.

I love this family.
Two young guys helped me with the location, luggage and breakfast
SUperclean, in the middle of the jungle, very friendly people.
WHATEVER you need they help you
The location is near the center.
Fantastic breakfast

Magical experience

Our family occupied both rooms at this cleverly positioned guesthouse up above the village of Ella. It was an easy ten min walk down to village . Both rooms had fabulous views into the jungle which presented an ever changing magical landscape . They were very nicely fitted out to provide us with an extremely economical stay without compromising on comfort and practical needs . Mosquito nets were provided . The luggage was brought up many steps for us and rooms were cleaned well daily. Breakfast was served down at the main house and was home cooked and delicious with the usual omelettes pancakes toast and lovely fruit selection. I would not hesitate to stay again. Great find .
