Wonderful stay at the beautiful accommodation with stunning view, amazing hospitality and delicious homemade food

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful family run hotel. We received a room with most stunning view of the mountains and forests. The family members Lakindu and Pathmini went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. Pathmini prepared some most delicious Sri Lankan food for our breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything was made fresh, using family recipes and the portions were huge. The hospitality we received from Lakindu was outstanding! He was so attentive, helpful and professional. Highly recommend this place not just to spend a night, but also to taste the most delicious food.

Generous and welcoming

The owners of Paramount had arranged to collect me from Ella train station, however my train was delayed for over and hour, and yet when I arrived in Ella they were patiently waiting to collect me! (I was unable to notify them about my late arrival before of lack of wifi!!)
The homestay is away from the hustle and bustle of Ella township, however it is located in the quiet hills and it is found beneath a newly constructed Buddhist temple.
The breakfast at Paramount was great too.

Amazing

We were greeted by a generous and welcoming smile and spoiled by attentions from the staff. The place is simple, but situated on a hill top with beautiful views. The service is beyond anything we experienced in Sri Lanka. Hot water is a big plus and we highly recommend the home cooked dinner. An amazingly rich breakfast is included. Top place! :) thank you so much ❤️

BEST GUESTHOUSE EVER!!!!

We‘ve stayed three nights at Paramount and it was amazing. First of all the owners are very friendly and super polied. They tried to help us in any situation. We borrowed a Scooter which was super nice. They have a laundry service as well and a very good Singalese breakfast included. It was probably one od the best Guesthouses in Sri Lanka so far...and the price is very low for this kind of high service. Rooms were clean and the view was fantastic. Would recommend this place to everyone who don’t wants to stay directly in the city (around 5 mins by tuktuk!)

Really helpful!

We had a great time staying there, mainly because of Pravindu who was so helpful - even lending us a phone to book tuk tuks with pre-programmed with his number - so tuk tuks could easily find the location and we didn’t get hassled for prices.
