Very nice stay at Finca los geranios
Lovely "casa rustica" with nice view. Perfect location for visiting the Anaga region. The garden with swimming pool is great to chill out after a long day of hiking and swimming. Breakfast is included and there is the possibility to use the kitchen for cooking lunch/dinner by yourself. Only cons is that the owners are not in the house, hence there is no chance of getting Infos or chatting a bit with them (though, there are many dépliants and books available in the living room).

Aggression and lack of privacy
We booked an estate to enjoy tranquility and privacy with friends, but the experience was a disaster. The property was not private, with a woman living in another house on the land and freely accessing the house. The owner showed up daily to take care of the plants, making us feel watched. His attitude became hostile when contacting Booking, treating us with contempt and threatening to cut off basic supplies. The last straw was when he pushed and punched one of our friends. The lack of privacy, intimidation and aggression mean that we do not recommend this property under any circumstances.

A charming country house, but...
Finca Los Geranios is and old fashioned country house located a little out of the way on a nice little hillside, offering nice view to a mountainside. The house itself is beautiful with a large garden, two terraces, a swimming pool and an outside fireplace. It is furnished stylish with several extras like a pianino, a fireplace and a large kitchen area. For each room there are own storage areas designated in the kitchen and fridge. Some of the rooms only have an external bathroom located on the other side of the corridor.
And the downside... Even though the house is furnished with great taste, most things have seen better days. The garden furniture is basically in ruins, most of the kitchen chairs are outright dangerous to sit on, a rug in our room was placed upside down, I didn't even want to know why. In addition, I am not sure if a vacuum cleaner is ever used there. In the corners, there was filth or dust covered spiderwebs, under the other furniture a thick layer of dust. I discovered a significant amount of hair in our bathroom from the previous guests upon arrival. It was a Sunday, I just thought I can live with that, it must have been cleaned hastily and I may mention it to the hosts the next day... but they never turned up during our 5 nights stay. We only met the cleaning lady (spoke only spanish) and another nice lady living next door, tasked with managing the most important things (she spoke english) like payment. Payment is accepted only in cash, the invoice is a small piece of parchment with the sum written on it only in spanish.
Breakfast was plenty and ok, although I could have imagined something else than the standard packaged toast bread.
There are 7 designated parkplaces in the yard, but I doubt it can actually serve 7 cars. It was off season, with only 3 rooms occupied by the time of our stay, so I did not have any trouble, but with a full house it could be tricky to park.
The Anaga Mountains can be reached within 15 minutes by car, so if you plan to visit the National Park multiple times, Finca Los Geranios might be a very good choice.
I hope the house is going to get a nice face lift and a thorough cleaning soon, then it would be an excellent place to stay.

Anaga and more visit
A charming local house, so called "Finca". Attached to a hill, who gives a beautiful view of the area. Perfect place for hiking in Anaga area. Keep in mind the entrance is very steep over 75 meter. Ok for a standard car. The road nearby is a bit noisy, but only with the windows open. The housekeeping is very friendly. The husband speaks English and French too. Elisabeth is English spoken and very customer minded. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you need so. The rooms are well equipped to. The pool is just ok for a refreshing dive after a day hiking.
Breakfast is more than enough! Don't expect a huge variety of all, but still is more than ok.

Charming & peaceful place
Super nice house! Suite Papaya is great, it was very clean and comfortable with nice balcony. Good location and cute garden with swimming pool to enjoy the afternoons. Located in a calmed place. Very close to La Laguna. People super friendly. 100% recomendable!
