Truly wish I could rate A Casa Da Botica more than 5*s
I cannot say enough about our amazing stay at A Casa Da Botica! It is right on the Camino as you enter the most beautiful village of Samos. The lobby area is just a preview of how amazing your room will be. Christian, at the front desk, couldn't have been more gracious, helpful, and hardworking (he also served us and other guests a beautiful and delicious full breakfast the next morning). Our room was breathtaking - huge, immaculate, most comfortable bed, largest bathroom imaginable, and our little French doors opened to a fairytale like view of the monastery. Christian also introduced us to Jaime of Taxi Samos Lugo who we arranged to pick us up the following day in Aguiada (after we walked through the forest from Samos).

Home away from home
I am walking the Camino Frances. My stay was September 30th to October lst, 2025. Stayed in room 101. I was immediately greeted by Cristian who has a calm demeanour, he is very professional and you can sense/feel of how proud he is of his establishment! My room was facing the Monastery, impeccable in cleanliness, decor simplicity and modern, the smell alone makes you feel as if you are in a garden of fresh flowers. They have a laundry facility in which they provide the soap/fabric softener (reasonable price) The landscaping is on point and comfortable outdoor furniture, everything you need to relax. If you are a wine connoisseur they have an IMPRESSIVE wine list (this hotel would make a wonderful backdrop for an engagement party etc) Breakfast display was mouth watering and did not disappoint, an array of cheese, ham, cold cuts, bread, mini croissant etc… I could go on! Cristian repeated treat this as your HOME! That sentence is true to its meaning. YOU WILL NOT REGRET staying here.

Charming in every way: in the treatment received by Cristian, in the super nice rooms, in the excellent cleanliness, in the very good breakfast and in the surroundings. Highly recommended to be from one night to several that will allow you to know the area.

Boutique Hotel in Samos
This place is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service is outstanding, the rooms superb, the bathrooms beautiful and the position on the Camino is unbeatable. What a treat. I will keep coming back here! Thank you, Rueben and Christian.

The best of the "Camino"
We have just returned from doing 10 stages of the Camino de Santiago (Astorga/Santiago) and I have to say that without a doubt, this has been the best establishment we have stayed in: quality, comfort and service well above the price we one would estimate by what was received.
A true discovery, totally recommended.
